Colombo – Sigiriya
Habarana Lake - Upon arrival at Bandaranaike International Airport in Colombo, you will be greeted by a tour representative and presented with a flower garland. Then, proceed to Habarana. Check in at the hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure.
Sigiriya – Anuradhapura – Mihintale – Sigiriya
Mihintale - After breakfast, visit the sacred city of Anuradhapura.

Anuradhapura is one of Sri Lanka’s ancient capitals, renowned for its well-preserved ruins of an ancient civilization. Now a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city was the center of Theravada Buddhism for many centuries. In the morning, visit the Thuparamaya, considered the first dagaba or pagoda built in Sri Lanka, which enshrines the collarbone of the Lord Buddha. You will also visit the Lovamahapaya, known as the Brazen Palace, located between the Ruwanvaliseya and Sri Maha Bodhiya.
Later, visit Mihintale, a mountain peak near Anuradhapura. It is believed by Sri Lankans to be the site where the Buddhist monk Mahinda met King Devanampiyatissa, marking the introduction of Buddhism to Sri Lanka.

Sigiriya – Polonnaruwa – Sigiriya
Polonnaruwa - After breakfast, visit and climb the famous Sigiriya Rock Fortress. Afterward, visit the medieval capital of Polonnaruwa.

Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its well-preserved ancient urban planning. The site is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 meters (660 ft) high.
Polonnaruwa is the second most ancient of Sri Lanka’s kingdoms. The ancient city remains one of the best-planned archaeological relic cities in the country, showcasing the discipline and greatness of the Kingdom’s first rulers. It has been declared a World Heritage site by UNESCO.

Sigiriya – Dambulla – Kandy
Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic - After breakfast, depart for Kandy, stopping by Dambulla Rock Cave Temple on the way. Then explore a spice garden and a batik factory before arriving in Kandy, where you’ll check in at the hotel. In the evening, enjoy a performance of Kandyan dance and visit the Dalada Maligawa (Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic).

Dambulla, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 meters over the surrounding plains. There are more than 80 documented caves in the area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. There are a total of 153 Buddha statues, three statues of Sri Lankan kings, and four statues of gods and goddesses.

You will visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic, also known as Sri Dalada Maligawa. This golden-roofed temple houses the relic of Lord Buddha’s tooth. Visit Kandy View Point, walk around Kandy Lake, and enjoy a shopping excursion at Kandy City Center.
Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
Royal Botanical Gardens - After breakfast, visit the Royal Botanical Garden before continuing to Nuwara Eliya, stopping at a tea factory en route. Afterward, visit Victoria Park and Gregory Lake.

Royal Botanical Gardens, Peradeniya, attracts 2 million visitors annually. It is renowned for its collection of orchids. The garden includes more than 4,000 species of plants, including orchids, spices, medicinal plants, and palm trees. The total area of the botanical garden is 147 acres (0.59 km2).
Nuwara Eliya (City of Lights) is a resort city in the Central Mountain range of Sri Lanka. It is at an altitude of 1,868 meters (6,128 ft) and is considered the most important location for tea production in Sri Lanka. The city is overlooked by Pidurutalagala, the tallest mountain in Sri Lanka. Nuwara Eliya is known for its temperate, cool climate — the coolest area in Sri Lanka.
Nuwara Eliya – Tissamaharama
Ravana Ella Falls - After breakfast, depart for Tissamaharama, visiting the 26-foot (8-meter) Ravana waterfalls on the way. Check in at the hotel, and then leave for a Jeep safari in Yala National Park in the mid-afternoon.

Yala National Park is the most visited and second-largest national park in Sri Lanka. Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into five blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks, and lagoons. Two blocks are currently open to the public. The park is best known for its variety of wild animals. It is important for the conservation of Sri Lankan elephants, Sri Lankan leopards, and aquatic birds.

Tissamaharama – Mirissa
Galle Fort - After breakfast, transfer to Mirissa, visiting Hambantota Salterns and the Stilt Fisherman at Weligama en route, followed by the Galle Fort.

Galle is the capital city of the Southern Province of Sri Lanka. Galle reached the height of its development in the 18th century during the Dutch colonial period. Galle is the best example of a fortified city built by the Portuguese in South and Southeast Asia, showcasing the interaction between Portuguese architectural styles and native traditions. The city was extensively fortified by the Dutch from 1649 onwards. The Old Town of Galle and its Fortifications is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers.

Whale Watching Mirissa With Wimal - After breakfast, go on a Whale and Dolphin watching tour.
Whale and Dolphin watching in Mirissa is one of the most thrilling water activities in Sri Lanka. The warm waters around Sri Lanka are ideal for spotting blue whales, Bryde’s whales, sperm whales, fin whales, common dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, and sometimes killer whales. Spinner dolphins, Risso’s dolphins, and striped dolphins can also be seen. The whale watching season starts in November and ends in April when the waters are warm and calm. Whale watching boats can ideally carry up to 40 passengers at a time with an observation deck. Whale watching tours usually start around 7:00 am as boats leave the harbor around that time and last about 3.5-4 hours.
