A Bundala joy! - Very professional, as you’d expect from the price. $60 for our afternoon safari into Bundala National Park, with excellent driver Dilan, who also turned out to be a knowledgable birder and wildlife guide. We picked up our obligatory park guide (the charming and super-expert Kapila in our case) and told him we wanted to see lots of birds, not just charge around looking for elephants and crocs. True to his word, we wasted no time observing and identifying dozens of wetland birds (and others). We visited the obligatory stunning cliff overlooking the windy seashore, then over salt pans looking for more birds, and on our gentle return towards the gate, spotted 2 groups of elephants, which few people had seen in recent weeks and months. Just made it out of the park before it closed, happy and exhilarated. An almost flawless experience

Dilan : professional and nice person - It was a very pleasant experience for me ! It was a rainy day and there were just a few tourists in 4x4 in the Park. Thanks to Dilan, I felt so closed with the animals. With confort and security when he was driving. He knows see the animals and he can give you explications on their life ! He takes the time to stay near the animals if you want. He likes share with the people. I will remember long time of this moments with this birds, crocodiles, monkeys and turtles ! Thank you Dilan !

Tranquility - A wonderful experience with ajith safaris. We knew what to expect from this park going in and we weren't disappointed. If you want to appreciate the lesser known animals of sri lanka then this is the place for you. Very few jeeps made us feel like we had the place to ourselves. We were super lucky with seeing a crocodile attack a stork, fish Eagle with a catch and a dung beetle rolling a ball of dung!. Thank you Kasun for being the vest driver for the entirety of our stay.

Amazing Safari - Amazing tour. Very kind driver and tour guide who knew a lot about all kinds of different bird species. The driver even brought us some snacks even though that was not included in our packages. Also, he brought me a lime since I told him the day before that I had a stomachache. Highly recommend!

A Sri Lanka Must-Do!! - The Pick-Up in the morning worked out perfectly on time and without any issues. When we got to the park, we already saw a herd of buffalos, monkeys and a variety of birds before even entering the park, which was the perfect start. On the way in we picked up a local guide who was super knowledgeable with great English and could even name us all the German names of the birds we saw (our native language). Another BIG Plus compared to the other park is that there was only ONE other Jeep in the whole park so it was super quiet and private (compared to Yala) and we were alone almost the whole time. We saw so many wild animals including lots of monkeys, crocodiles, buffalos, turtles (in the water and on land), huge lizards, wild cows, mungos, Peacocks and a variety of other beautiful birds and even elephants going right past our Jeep and crossing the road, which was such an amazing experience!! They stopped everywhere we wanted and had a really good eye for cool animals we wouldn’t have seen otherwise. Definitely the best safari we’ve been on here, so would recommend it to everyone who wants to go out of the tourist zone, into the real nature!
