Fantastic experience - Had an amazing afternoon safari with Our guide. He was a great driver and had by far the most knowledgeable about the animals so far. He told us a lot about elephants, crocodiles and birds that we saw during the game drive. He knew exactly where to go. In the end we even saw a Leopard which was very far away though so do not expect to see one and ideally bring a good camera with zoom or binoculars.

Tip top safari - Had such a good time doing the 4 hour safari with Yashara as guide. He made sure we got to see all the animals (even leopards) and did routes that were not too busy. Would definetly reccommend :)

Mind blowing to see animals in their own habitat - We were picked up at Ella at 3am to a place near Yala for pick up there at 5am by the safari jeep. We saw lots of different birds, peacocks, marmosets, wild boars, spotted deer, monkeys, water buffalo, elephants and the illusive leopard. Thanks to Sanka and Sunil for an amazing day and getting us to the south coast.

Good but prepare for a long day - Wonderful to see lots of elephants but prepare for a long day (12 hours with pick up and drop off). We thought we were paying for only 3 hours which is perfect but the total time in the park was close to 5 hours. It was very hot by the end. We received a meal and water in the morning but not enough to last the length of the safari and there is no where in the park to buy food/water. Warning to bring extra if you can.

Nice safari, not perfect service - Safari was good enough, although you should always remember that it's a bit random thing if animals will go to your route. I didn't like the fact that instructions were not very clear - tour says it starts at 5am, but I found out we should go at 3am from Ella only when I phoned to service. Another fact - they didn't give us any food or drinks, though it is listed in the tour plan. The driver was a very nice guy though, car is also nice.

Great safari, transfer a disaster - We were picked up at 3 a.m. on the main road because the driver didn't want to drive along the 300m narrow road. We were picked up in an old and run-down small car with only room for one suitcase in the trunk. Our other suitcase had to be temporarily placed on the passenger seat. The vehicle was very unkempt and very cramped. The air was stuffy because the driver kept turning the barely functioning air conditioning on and off, and the car windows couldn't be opened either. The driver didn't say a word to us, was unfriendly and obviously had no idea where he was actually supposed to take us. When we arrived in Yala, we got into a jeep. The safari itself was very nice and we were able to see various animals. We really enjoyed it, but there was no water or food as described in the advert. After the safari, we got back in and drove on to Mirissa in the run-down car. We showed the driver the address and the hotel, but he wasn't really interested and just drove off without really understanding what we wanted. The final straw was that at some point during the trip we noticed that there was a half-empty bottle of vodka in the center console, which he kept drinking from during the trip. Conclusion: The safari was very nice, the transfer was an absolute disgrace.
