Safari with SU - Our safari with SU in Yala National Park was an unforgettable experience. He was knowledgeable and passionate, ensuring we saw everything from leopards to elephants. The well-maintained vehicle offered great visibility and the small group size made it a more personal adventure. Thoughtful touches like refreshment breaks added to the overall enjoyment. I highly recommend SU for an amazing Yala safari!

If you want an expert in the Yala-wildlife you choose Malith - Highly dedicated guide who took time for explanations and there was no Tourist-Maschine-Feeling. Malith is a real expert, has his driver, who was also interested in the seeings and explained a lot instead of just drive as fast as he can like other drivers in the nationalpark. They really spotted every little animal and stopped for it. We discovered a lot of wild animals, leopards included!

I believe it's the best there is - Signed up for their full day tour and I am not disappointed. Malith was our driver and guide and he is an expert on the park's area. In the morning we already managed to spot leopards 3 times, some elephants, ox, crocodiles and many different birds. He is also very skilled at moving our vehicle to the right spot among the crowd to catch a good view of the animals. Malith is also knowledgeable about these animals and he's able to explain their characteristics and park behavior to you. I am very pleased with my experience at the park. Highly recommended!

Once-in-a-lifetime encounter with wild leopards - We had a phenomenal day with Malith, who has decades of first-hand experience in the Sri Lankan wildlife industry. We were very fortunate to secure accommodation at Yala Wild Safari’s guest house and enjoy a full day tour (6a-6p). The accommodations were a remarkable bargain with comfortable beds, air conditioning, and hot water. Malith was an exceptional guide from beginning to end. We were the first Jeep in line for the day at the park entrance and got to see all three major mammals (leopard, elephant, sloth bear). We also saw deer, wild boar, buffalo, gray langurs, crocodiles, hornbills, monitor lizards, and numerous bird species. Meals included a scrumptious egg sandwich/banana breakfast and an exquisite lunch combo of rice, curry dishes, and fresh fruit. Can’t recommend this place highly enough. Malith patiently entertained numerous questions and consistently got us in the ideal position to view wildlife. I’m a cautious and calculating individual; no need to think twice about booking here - you’ll regret it if you don’t!

Great Day - This was the 2nd Safari we have done in Sri Lanka and was our favourite. We were lucky enough to see the big 3, elephants, a bear, and 3 leopards. Bears are apparently very rare to see and our driver was losing his mind at seeing one. I do not remember our drivers name, not Malith, however he was very informative on all the wildlife. The only reason I did not give a 5 star review is because the driver seemed to care more about his view of the bigger animals than us even when we told him we were staring at bushes, when our group was ready to leave and asked to keep going he still stayed in the same place from anywhere between 15-30mins. We really wanted Malith as our driver but it was a special day and he was not working that day. It was a wonderful day regardless and would do it all again.

Full day safari Yala NP - I was picked up in time from my accomodation in Yala and we entered the park also in time. It was a great day, we have seen most of the animals (we were only missing out on the bear) but we have seen a leopard who past us very close. My tour guide was Sandu who did a good job and who saw animals where I would have never discovered them. He also made sure that you feel good and enjoy the tour at any time. But in my opinion a half day tour would be enough because you are not allowed to drive around between 12 and 2 pm so that you have a long lunch break. And I didn't like the organisation with the jeeps (many were not full, very often just one or two people inside) but that's the case for every company and is an issue with the whole organisation of the national park. Otherwise it was a tour that I can recommend!
