Sudu King of Yala - We booked the half day tour and our driver Sudu picked us up at exactly 5am. Although we were a bit late at the entry Sudu managed to get almost first in line before entering the National Park. Sudu offered us two options. We could hunt the animals with all other cars or we could trust him and do our own tour away from the crowd. We all agreed on the 2nd option. His driving skills were unbelievable and he was respectful towards nature and the animals. We decided to upgrade to the full day trip because we hadnt seen a leopard since then which wasn’t a problem. Sudu managed to show us lots of elephants, a bear and a Leopard from the distance. He tought us a lot about the animals and made this day an unforgettable experience. Definitely would recommend if you want to do a safari in yala!

Fantastic Safari - The safari was excellent! Our guide Sodu was really knowledgeable. He took us away from the really busy areas of the park and was able to spot paw marks & use animal calls to find out when an animal was nearby. Food was lovely! Highly recommend!

Super guide, great guide and perfect process - I have done a safari tour several times, but I have never been led by such a competent guide as Sudu. Human, personal and humor just super likable. The food was delicious, the group was great and with his knowledge Sudu gave us some nice moments. His eagle eyes have detected all sorts of animals - outstanding. He does his job so passionately and even after the tour, while all the other jeeps are whizzed by it, he reviewed the day with us and answered open questions about the national park and animals.

Incredible - thank you Sudu! - Sudu was our guide and he was absolutely incredible! He had an immense amount of knowledge and because of him, we were some of the only people to see a leopard this day! Very good English, very friendly and made the day comfortable and enjoyable. A couple of things that I would have liked to know before booking - it is an extremely dusty place, so do not wear any light colours as these clothes will get wrecked! Also, with booking the full day Safari, you have a lunch break of two hours on the beach so take that into consideration. Overall, I absolutely recommend. Memories to last a lifetime. Amazing safari experience! - Janaka arranged for a fantastic safari experience. Sudu, our driver, was super knowledgeable and experienced and was always happy to share his knowledge. As we entered the park we encountered a young male elephant on heat. Many of the other safari jeeps crowded around the elephant looking to get a photo opportunity, but Sudu held back and kept us safe. The elephant was clearly agitated and keeping our distance was the right thing to do. He then got us safely into the park. Once inside we set off away from the rest of the jeeps and into the quieter areas of the park. We saw lots of the animals, including a leopard. Our safari finished off with Sudu taking us around the park museum and he shared a lot of his knowledge about elephants, leopards and the other wildlife that can be found in the park. It was a truly memorable experience. Would recommend both Sudu and the company!

Amazing - It was a very nice day. We see all animals and Sudu did a great job! Animal welfare is very important to him. He is the King of Yala.

Best Safari with Sudu - It was a amazing trip! In the first hour we directly saw two Leopards!😍 Our guide SUDU was super cool and he knows a lot about the animals and the nature. He is really experienced! The best about him was that he don’t drive where the other jeeps go, he had his own hidden places!

Sudu was the best guide you can ask for - The safari was amazing. Sudu was such a great guide. We saw a lot of animals without having to be near all the other jeeps. We had a delicious breakfast in the morning and sri lankan lunch too. I had brought a book to entertain myself after reading reviews that the lunch break is very long (because the park closes 12-2pm) but Sudu kept us entertained with his lovely stories and by sharing a bit of his life with us. We would recommend Sudu to everyone, very genuine guide, humble and knowledgeable. Note: for some reason TripAdvisor isn’t letting me upload the pictures but we saw 3 leopards (amazing pictures taken by Sudu too!), a ton of elephants, and so many other animals.

Awesome day with perfect guide! - We love the day trip. Our guide Sudu was amazing, he took us to very secluded places without the crowds and even found us a leopard! He definitely knew the park inside out, we feel very lucky to have had him as our guide.
