A magical experience with Janaka Safaris - Our experience with Janaka Safaris was extraordinary! From start to finish, we were blown away by the abundance of wildlife in the park. We were incredibly fortunate to see leopards, elephants, and sloth bears, along with crocodiles, monkeys, mongoose, deer, water buffalo, and countless bird species. Our guide, Su, was exceptional. His knowledge of the park and its animals was unparalleled, and his deep understanding of animal behavior and body language set him apart. Unlike some other drivers we saw, Su was cautious and respectful, always ensuring we avoided dangerous situations while prioritizing the well-being of the animals. One of the best parts of the experience was Su’s flexibility. He gave us the option to either explore the park independently or stay in touch with the other jeeps. We highly recommend trusting Su’s expertise and going solo if you want to avoid the chaotic rush of jeeps trying to get a glimpse of animals. The solo approach allowed us to observe wildlife in a peaceful, natural way and leave the park feeling good about not causing unnecessary stress to the animals. The meals (breakfast and lunch) were delicious and you have time in the middle of the day to rest and have a bathroom break. The day ended with a magical sunset over the lake, where we debriefed and shared some final laughs - a perfect conclusion to an unforgettable experience. If you have the time, opt for the full-day safari. The extra time allows you to be patient, soak in the surroundings, and wait for the animals to come to you (if you are lucky). Perfect Day - Had such a wonderful time! Great Safari experience with my driver Su! Honestly, the best driver!! Made sure we were in the front of the line entering the park. The Leopard Search - We spent an unforgettable day in Yala National Park. Our driver was great and explained a lot. We have seen elephants, buffaloes, monkeys, birds, bears and even 4 leopards. Attention was always paid to the welfare of the animals. Over all incredible paths the driver drove super safe, we felt very comfortable.

Ish rules! - We had an amazing time. We had a splendid driver, Ish, he’s awesome and made sure we were always at the front with a perfect view! Did his utmost to make our day a succes and it was. We saw two lepards, even one from just a meter away. Saw a bunch of elephants, spotted deer, wild pigs, beautiful birds and much more. Thx again Ish.

Yala Safari. - We had a great safari with Su. We did the full day tour and saw elephants, leopards, buffalo among other things. He was very respectful of the animals and the park and this meant we saw a great deal. He provided breakfast and lunch which were great and was very knowledgeable. Thanks for making our first safari such a great day.

Sudu King of Yala - We booked the half day tour and our driver Sudu picked us up at exactly 5am. Although we were a bit late at the entry Sudu managed to get almost first in line before entering the National Park. Sudu offered us two options. We could hunt the animals with all other cars or we could trust him and do our own tour away from the crowd. We all agreed on the 2nd option. His driving skills were unbelievable and he was respectful towards nature and the animals. We decided to upgrade to the full day trip because we hadnt seen a leopard since then which wasn’t a problem. Sudu managed to show us lots of elephants, a bear and a Leopard from the distance. He tought us a lot about the animals and made this day an unforgettable experience. Definitely would recommend if you want to do a safari in yala!

Fantastic Safari - The safari was excellent! Our guide Sodu was really knowledgeable. He took us away from the really busy areas of the park and was able to spot paw marks & use animal calls to find out when an animal was nearby. Food was lovely! Highly recommend!

Super guide, great guide and perfect process - I have done a safari tour several times, but I have never been led by such a competent guide as Sudu. Human, personal and humor just super likable. The food was delicious, the group was great and with his knowledge Sudu gave us some nice moments. His eagle eyes have detected all sorts of animals - outstanding. He does his job so passionately and even after the tour, while all the other jeeps are whizzed by it, he reviewed the day with us and answered open questions about the national park and animals.

Incredible - thank you Sudu! - Sudu was our guide and he was absolutely incredible! He had an immense amount of knowledge and because of him, we were some of the only people to see a leopard this day! Very good English, very friendly and made the day comfortable and enjoyable. A couple of things that I would have liked to know before booking - it is an extremely dusty place, so do not wear any light colours as these clothes will get wrecked! Also, with booking the full day Safari, you have a lunch break of two hours on the beach so take that into consideration. Overall, I absolutely recommend. Memories to last a lifetime. Thank you, Sudu.
