Great day out. - We picked our tour with Travceylon based on excellent reviews and were very happy with our choice. Our guide/driver Lakshan was waiting at the entrance to the port. He was a lovely guy, spoke good english and was a very careful driver. We managed to see elephants, crocodiles, and many birds. Lakshan managed to point out things that we didn't see for ourselves. I was expecting an uncomfortable journey (jeep all the way) but was pleasantly surprised at just how comfortable the journey was. Overall it was an excellent experience and all 6 of us enjoyed ourselves. I would recommend this trip to anyone.

Fabulous trip & guide - Our trip to Yala was wonderful. The park is great and our guide from the nature park had an eagle eye and spotting so many animals we would've missed. We were fortunate to see elephants eight hands distance away. We also saw Komodo dragon, storks, water, buffalo, Peacocks, Crocodiles and so many others highly recommend,

Super - Great shore excursion. Travceylon is an excellent company and I was very happy with their communication and organization. Our driver was just that—he got us safely to the Park and back to the port. In the park, we didn’t have much in the way of explanation of animals, but he did stop to let us take fantastic pictures and made sure that we got to see some spectacular wildlife. Highly recommend!

The most wonderful experience! - My family had an absolute amazing time at Yala! We were on a cruise ship and organised the trip directly with Travceylon. They sent WhatsApp confirmations, it was so easy and very organised. They confirmed pickup time, and sent regular confirmation messages with the time, and details that the local guide would be at the port showing our name on the board. Safari Jeep picked us up direct from the cruise terminal to Yala. It was just the most amazing experience and I would highly recommend this company. The guides are very experienced and really know how to seek out all of the amazing animals at the park! Book with these guys if you are in Hambantota!

Magical movement in yala - I thoroughly enjoyed our three hour morning safari of Yala. Our guide was friendly, always smiling and informative. I would recommend this company, as other Safari jeeps were leaving the park our driver decided to take us to a watering hole where a family of seven elephants wondered in and began drinking and playing. It was a memorable movement.

So good - We have come to Lanka from Hambantota. Went to the hotel and then went to Yala Safari. The working people were very friendly and took us safely. Yala is very beautiful. There are many animals. Animals like elephants and tigers.

Fun In The Wild - The animals are more active in the early or later part of the day. The jeeps are required to stay on the path and when there is an sighting the road path gets very crowded and some jeeps do not move until the sighting is over.

A Must-See, and a guide makes it better - A trip to Yala is definitely worth it as a shore excursion. Our guide didn’t do much for us, however. When we got to the park, he didn’t point out wildlife, but stopped when we asked him to so we could take pictures of what we spotted. He wasn’t knowledgeable, didn’t communicate, and was really more of a driver. He did do that well,, avoiding the ruts and bumps so my husband could manage his back problem.
