Your host, Bobo, will guide you through the life of inland Dalmatia’s people, from preparing “Soparnik” - traditional pies made with fresh chard and recognized by UNESCO as a food heritage, to engaging in traditional dances accompanied by Dalmatian instruments, just as our ancestors did for entertainment. Bobo will answer all your questions about the local lifestyle and demonstrate how people thrived in both good and challenging times. Following an introduction to the history, customs, and architecture of the countryside, the host will show us how to make Soparnik (often referred to as Dalmatian pizza). The program includes music and dancing until dinner, where you’ll savor roasted mixed meat with spring onions and potatoes, all baked under a traditional bell.
