An Unforgettable Countryside Journey - My mum and I booked a 5 day trip through the Sri Lankan countryside with Saj, which definitely exceeded all of our expectations. From the very start, Saj showcased an exemplary level of professionalism, setting the tone for what was to be a truly extraordinary journey. He consistently took our wishes into consideration, working diligently to ensure every facet of the tour met our expectations. Our 5-day tour featured some of the most beautiful spots in the country, many of which we might have missed without Saj‘s intimate knowledge of the area. From the tea-covered hills of Ella to the breathtaking wildlife encounters during the Safari as well as interesting herb and tea tours, we had a truly individual journey through the heart of Sri Lanka. On the 3rd day, we were warmly welcomed into Say's family home, where we were given the unique opportunity to learn how to cook traditional Sri Lankan food with his delightful mother. This was far more than just a cooking lesson; it was a genuinely heartwarming encounter that allowed us to engage with the local culture in a deeply personal way. All in all it was an unforgettable trip!

Travelling around Sri Lanka. 🤩 - I did a 8 days tour with Saj and I saw so many nice local stuff and other things I would not have seen without him. He’s really helpful for your itinerary and he respects what you want to do, your needs, your kind of activities, budget. Also, his family are the best. We had few family lunches/dinners and we had so much fun. Plus, I bought so many souvenirs over there and he offered me to dropped them close to the airport at the end of my trip so I won’t have to carry everything during my travel around Sri Lanka. That’s really sweet of him and this guy has such a big heart. He also made me try a lot of local food that I really enjoyed (not too much spicy). We went to see some cultural festival and it was really interesting. This guy knows a lot and you can learn so many things. Thank you for everything!

AMAZING TOURGUIDE! Definitely showing u the hidden gems 💎 - Hey guys! First of all I wanna thank Saj for this amazing 5 day tour. As I am travelling alone I wanted to not miss anything in Sri Lanka. We did a tour from coming from Arugam Bay to Ella, Nuwara Eliya, Kandy to Sigirija. Saj is fun to have around and if you travel alone the perfect company. He will definitely turn out to be a good friend in the end of your tour. Saj knows hidden spots around Kandy and visiting his mom for the best local dinner was a nice experience! Since then eating with hands is a new must do for me :P when eating rice and curry. He definitely takes care of your budget and always helps to have the best experiences with good prices if you want for example an Ayurveda massage he knows the best places to go. No matter what you want to do, he will find a way. Thank you for making this journey spontaneous, and special and letting me go with so much more knowledge about the country and the locals. I highly recommend him to any solo traveller, couples, group of people :) If there is anything you want to see or do and is not listed, just ask him. He makes it happen:)). Enjoy your trip guys! ;)

Best experience in Sri Lanka - The trip with Saj and Yamu Tours was wonderful. I had the best days of my trip to Sri Lanka. Saj makes the impossible possible and fulfills every wish. Through this tour you get to know the country and its people in an authentic way. Best part of my visit to Srilanka! - Kandy gets an undeserved bad rep. Got the impression that most travellers find it boring, with little to see and do. This is a misconception Yamu tours is doing a fine job of correcting. The days I spend with Saj from yamu tours was by far the highlight of my trip to Sirilanka. I saw beautiful nature, lakes hills, wetlands, stunning temples and unbelievable jungle, as well as the key sighs. In addition I was bought to brilliant rooftop bars and ate SO much amazing food. I trust this tour operator completely, and would recommend you let them know what it is you would like to do. Feel like many probably will do a good job of showing you the sights, but what made my trip special was the things that happens in between as well as the hidden gems, the places you will not be able to read about in any guidebook/site. Absolutely recommend this! - In July 2017 my mom and I went for a holiday to Sri Lanka. We really wanted to experience the country as it is with it's locals and ways of living. Saj and his uncle gave us this unique experience. They took us to places we would have never found in a big tour. Saj did not only show us beautiful places, he made us have the local food and showed us everything we had wanted to see and try in this wonderful country. I do absolutely recommend to travel with Saj. He is very friendly and helpful and he will make sure you will have the best time!

You NEED to experience this - The trip with Saj was an amazing experience! He's very open minded, fun and clearly knows what tourists need 😌. He knows many local places, that other agencies probably won't show you. He has an enormous knowledge about his country. This tour is just everything you want to see and experience. Rip-off - The tour is much too expensive for what is offered. If you organize all this yourself, you are much cheaper. The way he treats women is inappropriate. He flirts a lot and makes clear allusions to sex.
