Dal Lake - Welcome! Check-in to one of the finest houseboats on the lake. Enjoy the natural beauty and the unique experience of staying on the water. If you arrive early, you can explore some city highlights or enjoy a Shikara (boat) ride on the lake. The rest of the time is free for leisure.

Dal Lake - If you arrive early at Srinagar Airport, you can take a ride on the lake and experience the local lifestyle and floating markets. Dal Lake offers a unique experience, showcasing how people live and trade on the water.

Explore the Highlights of Srinagar City: 7-8 hours

Shalimar Bagh - Shalimar Bagh is a Mughal garden built by Emperor Jahangir to please his queen. He expanded the ancient garden in 1619 into a royal garden called “Fara Baksh” (the delightful) for his wife Nur Jahan. The Bagh is considered the pinnacle of Mughal horticulture and is now a public park, also known as the crown of Srinagar.

Nishat Garden - Nishat Garden, meaning “delight,” was built by Asif Khan in 1633. This terraced garden is located on the eastern side of Dal Lake, beneath the Zabarwan Hill range.

Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden - Depending on the day and weather, this garden tour could be the highlight of your visit, with tulips in full bloom.

Pari Mahal - Pari Mahal, another Mughal creation, overlooks Dal Lake and offers a bird’s eye view of Srinagar. Located in the Zabarwan Hill range, it provides a brief but memorable experience.

Dal Lake - Experience Dal Lake up close with a Shikara boat ride, exploring the inner parts of the lake, local markets, and the unique lifestyle of the residents. Enjoy a full hour on the lake.

Day Trip to Gulmarg Hill Station (65 kms - 2 hours one way)

Gulmarg - Gulmarg is a hill station in Kashmir, located 65 kms from Srinagar. Known for its Pir Panjal range and natural beauty, it is a world-famous winter sports destination attracting thousands of travelers daily. The gondola cable car ride takes you up to 12,000 feet, with a second phase reaching 14,000 feet on the Pir Panjal Himalayan range.

Day Trip to Sonamarg - 85 kms (3 hours one way)

Sonamarg - Sonamarg, meaning “meadows of gold,” lives up to its name with stunning mountains, landscapes, and the Thajiwas glacier. The scenic drive adds to the experience, making it a golden destination in any season.

Pahalgam - The Valley of Shepherds - 96 kms (3 hours one way)

Pahalgam - Pahalgam, known as the Valley of Shepherds, was once home to herds of sheep and livestock. While the lifestyle has evolved, the name remains. The area is rich in nature, valleys, rivers, and shades of green. Pass through the Saffron city and the apple valley to reach Pahalgam. Enjoy the beautiful scenery, visit the ABC valley or mini Switzerland, and explore the charming town of Pahalgam.
