The route passes through Pampore, Avantipura, and the village of Bijbehara, known as the breadbasket of Kashmir. Depart from national highway 1A at Khanabal and drive through Anantnag, the second largest city. The road becomes scenic as it runs parallel to the Lidder River. In Pahalgam, explore local sights and valleys before checking into the hotel for an overnight stay.

Pahalgam to Srinagar

Srinagar - After breakfast, check out from the Pahalgam hotel and drive back to Srinagar. Check into the hotel, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight in Srinagar.

Srinagar to Gulmarg and Back

Gulmarg - After breakfast, embark on an 8-hour day trip to Gulmarg, exploring local sights and valleys. Known as the meadow of flowers, the route from Srinagar to Gulmarg is captivating, with stunning views and picturesque surprises at every turn. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours. Chashme Shahi, also known as Cheshma Shahi, is one of the Mughal gardens built in 1632 AD around a spring by Ali Mardan Khan, a governor under Mughal emperor Shah Jahan, as a gift for his eldest son, Prince Dara Shikoh.

Nishat Garden - This is the second largest Mughal garden in the Kashmir Valley, located on the bank of Dal Lake. ‘Nishat Bagh’ means the “Garden of Joy,” “Garden of Gladness,” and “Garden of Delight.”

Indira Gandhi Tulip Garden - The Indira Gandhi Memorial Tulip Garden, formerly the Model Floriculture Center, is the largest tulip garden in Asia, covering about 30 hectares. It is situated at the foothills of the Zabarwan Range with a view of Dal Lake. (Sightseeing is subject to the garden being open to tourists)

Hazratbal Masjid - The Hazratbal Shrine, also known as Dargah Sharif, is a Muslim shrine located in the Hazratbal area of Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir, India. It houses a relic, Moi-e-Muqqadas, believed to be a hair of the Islamic prophet Muhammad.
