Dal Lake - Dal Lake is a prominent lake in Srinagar, the summer capital of Jammu and Kashmir, India. It plays a crucial role in tourism and recreation in Kashmir and is often referred to as the “Lake of Flowers”, “Jewel in the crown of Kashmir”, or “Srinagar’s Jewel”. The lake is also a vital source for commercial activities such as fishing and water harvesting.

Nishat Garden - Nishat Bagh is a 12-terraced garden situated near Srinagar’s renowned Dal Lake. It is the second-largest Mughal garden in Kashmir, following Shalimar Bagh. Known as the “Garden of Bliss”, it features a magnificent Mughal central water channel with numerous fountains, surrounded by tall Chinar trees.

Shalimar Bagh (Shalimar Gardens) - Shalimar Bagh is famous for its chini khanas, or arched niches, located behind garden waterfalls. These niches, which were illuminated at night with oil lamps, created a fairy tale-like appearance for the waterfalls.

Nishat Garden - Known as the “garden of bliss”, Nishat Garden is set against the backdrop of the Zabarwan Mountains. It offers a breathtaking view of Dal Lake and the snow-capped Pir Panjal mountain range. The garden’s terraces each represent a different Zodiac sign.

Pahalgam

Avantiswami Temple - Before becoming king, Avantivarman constructed a Hindu temple in Awantipora dedicated to Vishnu, called “Avantisvamin”. During his reign, he built another Hindu temple in Awantipora dedicated to Shiva, named “Avantisvara”. Both temples are situated in spacious rectangular paved courtyards.

Betaab Valley - Betaab Valley gained fame after the 1983 film “Betaab”, starring Sunny Deol and Amrita Singh, was shot here. The valley was subsequently named after the hit film. It is located on the route to the famous Amarnath temple yatra and is one of the three stunning valleys in Pahalgam, the other two being Chandanwadi and Aru.

Gulmarg

Gulmarg Gondola - The Gulmarg Gondola ride in Kashmir, India, is renowned for offering breathtaking panoramic views of the Himalayan mountains. It is especially popular in winter, attracting skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts.
