Sonamarg - After breakfast, drive to Sonamarg, one of the most scenic routes from Srinagar. We’ll stop at several picturesque spots along the way. Continue driving to Sonamarg at 2690 meters (Meadow of Gold). You can ride a horse to visit the Thajiwas Glacier, where snow remains year-round. Known as the Gateway to Ladakh, you’ll stay overnight at a hotel in Srinagar.
Srinagar - Gulmarg
Gulmarg Golf Course - After breakfast, embark on a full-day trip to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) at 2730 meters above sea level. The 60 km distance will be covered in about 2 hours. Gulmarg boasts some of the best ski slopes in the world and the highest golf course globally with 18 holes. Weather permitting, you can also view Nanga Parbat. The route from Tangmarg to Gulmarg offers fascinating views. You can also take a short trek to Khilangmarg, which takes about 3 hours. Enjoy sledge riding on the snow, and chair lifts for mountain rides are available. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Gulmarg - Pahalgam
Pahalgam - After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam at 2440 meters (Vale of Kashmir), situated at the confluence of streams from the Lidder River and Sheeshang Lake. En route, visit the saffron fields and the Avantipur ruins, an 1100-year-old temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, built by King Awantivarman. Upon arrival in Pahalgam, enjoy the surrounding beauty or walk to Baisaren, a small village 2 km from Pahalgam set in pine and fir forests, offering pleasing views. Pahalgam is a famous location for the Indian film industry. Enjoy the natural charm of the valley. Overnight stay at a hotel in Pahalgam.
Pahalgam - Srinagar (City Tour and Shikara Ride)
Dal Lake - After breakfast, proceed to Srinagar. Upon arrival, check into your hotel. Later, visit the Mughal Gardens: Nishat Bagh (Abode of Pleasure), built by Asif Khan, brother-in-law of Jehangir, in 1632 AD, and Shalimar Bagh (Abode of Love), built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the banks of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. The distance from Srinagar to these gardens is about 12 and 15 km, respectively. In the evening, enjoy a Shikara ride on Dal Lake. Overnight stay at a hotel.
