• Srirangapatna - Start your tour early in the morning after meeting with your personal chauffeur in the hotel lobby. He will make a brief stop on the way to Srirangapatna for breakfast (at your own cost). Drive 160 Kilometres (approx) to Srirangapatna from Bangalore/Bengaluru city. Although situated a few kms from Mysore city, Srirangapatna lies in the neighbouring district of Mandya. The entire town is enclosed by the river Kaveri to form a river island. • Daria Daulat Bagh - Daria Daulat Bagh (literally ‘Garden of the Wealth’) is a palace situated in the city of Srirangapatna. The palace is built in the Indo-Sarcenic style in mostly made of teakwood. The palace has a rectangular plan and is built on a raised platform. The most stunning feature of the palace is that all the space available on the walls, pillars, canopies and arches have colourful frescoes in the style of Mysore paintings.
• Srirangapatna - Tombs of Tipu Sultan and Hyder Ali, is situated in Srirangapatnam; it looks very similar to the Golconda tombs with an elegant square chamber with a brick dome. The excellent workmanship is evident in the carved stone windows, ebony doorways artistically designed with inlaid ivory. There is an ancient mosque inside the complex.
• St. Philomena’s Church - St. Philomena’s church is a Catholic church built in honour of St. Philomena in the Diocese of Mysore, India. It was constructed in 1936 using a Neo Gothic style and its architecture was inspired by the Cologne Cathedral in Germany.
