- Tipu Sultan Summer Palace And Museum - The tour starts with a pick up and drive to Tipu Sultan’s Summer Palace. Back in the 1700s, this palace used to be the summer residence of the Mysorean ruler, Tipu Sultan. Hear about Tipu Sultan and his rebellion against the British regime from your guide. Notice the Indo-Islamic architecture from up close before moving on to your next destination i.e. Mysore Palace.
- Mysore Palace - The Mysore Palace is the official residence of the Wadiyar dynasty in present times. This palace is a mix of Indian and Saracenic design. From the royal wedding hall to the museum, your guide will show you everywhere around the publicly open palace.
- Sri Chamundeshwari Temple - Next up, you will stop by Chamundeshwari Temple. It is believed that Goddess Durga, a fierce form of Shakti, slayed demon king Mahishasura on this temple’s spot.
After seeking blessings at the temple, you will be served lunch on a traditional banana leaf.
- St. Philomena’s Church - Then for the last part, you will see St. Philomena’s Cathedral which is a remarkable gothic-style Catholic church built by the old Wadiyar king. You will be sent back to your hotel as the tour ends.

Day Trip to Mysore - Shiva was very informative, interesting and clear in his speech. He displayed lots of flexibility and even went out of his was to take us for a fabulous South Indian lunch. Highly recommend Shiva for a trip around Mysore!

Informative, beautiful and delicious Mysore - The guide was very informative and helped give the historical and cultural context. The palaces and temples very visually amazing. The lunch was delicious, and we even had an impromptu visit to the city market which had many good smells and sights. Definitely worth a quick day trip from Bangalore

Four splendid locations in one day - Shiva did a great job showing us around the magnificent Misore Palace and three other impressive locations. Friendly, knowledgeable, and forthcoming - we could not have hoped for a better tour guide. Pickup by car also went very smoothly. We should say that we also got very lucky with the time of the year - exam time at school meant that the queues were very short.

Amazing trip! - Mahesh did a great job taking us through all the historical places. Also, the driver Jaheer was so good! Food as amazing too, great experience. We enjoy and learned a lot during this trip. Happy to have booked this tour. Congrats!

Great tour, highly recommend! - It was amazing tour. The driver picked us from our hotel in Bangalore. Mysure palace is so beautiful and the market is so colorful. Our guide Shivu is very knowledgeable and nice.

Overall I'm satisfied, except the price is a bit expensive. - Shiva is a good tour guide. His explanations are very detailed and professional. I am satisfied with his service.
