St. Augustine nights of Lights - The light show was amazing and exceeded our expectations even on a foggy night when some people cancelled

Excellent guides - Guide was excellent. Hot spiced tea warmed us before and after journey. There were no handles to hang onto on the golf cart. I wish I had a handle in front me ( or some sort of grab bar) to make me feeel more secure.

Several days before we... - Several days before we were told there were technical issues with the the golf cart and they would substitute a luxury SUV. That was actually better because it was chilly that night and a warm car with the windows down was perfect. The lights themselves didn’t wow me and traffic was heavy but the best part of the tour was the guide/driver Chance. He was called in last minute and the other couples didn’t show so we had a private tour. He was so knowledgeable about the city and so personable and friendly. Giving him 5 stars. He made the tour enjoyable!! Hope to come back this summer to do another tour with Chance!!

Great driver he made the trip memorable - Our driver Benji, was fun entertaining and a wonderful host
He was the life of the party A full car load of people singing waving and having a fun old time
The glasses were also very good you look through these 3D style glasses and all the lights show a Snowman, move them around and the snowmen dance
Fun tour lovely city, looking forward to retuning next year and spending the night nearby and enjoying more of St Augustine next time we invite friends
We drove from Centra Florida and should have planned a longer stay we drove home late not fun

Crash - While on the golf cart tour we had an automobile accident and the golf cart was disabled. Thankfully no one was seriously hurt, but two of our party were transported to the hospital for evaluation. The golf cart company did provide an Uber to the location of our choice. No compensation was given for only receiving half of the tour.

Cancelled us for "rain". Only rained 3 hours after tour would have started. Many other tour companies were driving aroun - I don't recommend this company, and do recommend you find another company to trust with your vacation.
They canceled our tour 2 hours before pickup time. They claimed it would rain. The chance of rain was only at 27%, and it never rained. Not until later in that evening. I am also leaving this review, because the owner as you can see from the reviews, can not take criticism, and instead calls customers liars hypocrites, and complainers. So I'll just address each accusation with facts, and I am sure the public is smart enough to see this is a company that lacks professionalism. He claims we are lying about driving 5 hours to get to St. Augustine. We live in Cape Coral. They know this from taking the order. Map it by car, and you will see this is true. They say we didn't see 5-10 other companies doing tours while there was no rain. Perhaps it was 6, maybe 4. The exact number is irrelevant. We didn't jot down how many and keep track. We saw many other tour companies who didn't cancel. There, is that better? "Many?". Feel better? They call us hypocrites, saying we would be complainers if it rained. Well, that's what is called a straw argument. How would they know? They cancelled the tour. The fact is, my husband is very kind and generous. If it did rain, he would do the opposite. He'd absolutely understand, and wouldn't ask for a refund, and would probably tip the driver anyways for the holidays. So this owner is wrong, and rude.
What this business owner is leaving out is that sure, it rained at 9pm. But our tour was scheduled for 6pm, and they cancelled at 4pm. There was low chance of rain, and the weather was great. Clear, cool, and no rain. We walked around the area that we would have toured and it was great weather. We walked around until 8:30, then went to dinner. The tour was only supposed to be for 45 minutes. So even according to this owner, we would have been finished 2 hours and 15 minutes before it rained. Who cares that it rained for 12 hours after. He is pointing out 9pm rain for 12 hours as if that has to do with anything. Our tour was for 6pm, for 45 minutes and they cancelled for no reason at 4pm, after we had just driven 5 hours to be there early in case of traffic.
This supposed owner could learn a few things if they listen to customers, rather than attack them because they are insecure and don't know how to run a business. My husband had said that they should have just kept the booking. Tell the customer, us, that there is a small chance of rain. And if so, they have to cancel. We'd absolutely understand. The tourist area is small. We were in the vicinity anyways. We could have gone at 6pm, we all would have agreed that the weather was fantastic, and take the tour. And if the rain had changed, then cancel then. Not 2 hours before when the weather was great and looked to stay great. They say "you would have skewered us if we canceled last minute". No, no we wouldn't have. But you'll never know that because you what, you can't communicate? Afraid to be assertive and up front? Try it. Maybe you'll realize customers aren't as paranoid and easy to upset as you are. Just be up front. Straight forward. Just didn't make any business sense. Your lack of effort leads to bad reviews, which then leads you to personal insults such as "you possess a callous tone" and "hope you do not display in your daily life". You worry about golf carts, we will worry about our daily lives. My husband owns multiple businesses, and has for many years, and could definitely teach you something about customer service, communication, and successful business management. It's not a little golf cart ride business he owns. But as he said, you can see that they cancel frequently, and always have some new excuse and then debate the customer. So our advice is to keep scrolling. There are other options.

Canceled 2 hours in advance for possible rain, but the weather was and remained perfect. - We drove 5 hours to get to St. Augustine to arrive a few hours in advance of our tour, but they cancelled 2 hours before the pick up time. They said they were expecting rain. It never rained a drop. When cancelled, it said the chance of rain was 27%. We ended up walking around instead, and the weather was perfect. And we were passed by 5-10 other tour companies with open carts and trams that didn't cancel their guests. I'd think they would have waited until closer to the start time, then if it was raining, cancel. Even if it did start to rain, so? It has a roof. The entire tour is all within a short distance to the pickup area. They could wait to see if it's not raining, and then give the tour. If it started to rain, just return. In this case, it didn't rain a drop, so it was a complete overreaction that just killed our plans. Looking at their reviews and how often they cancel, it makes me wonder if they either overbook, or maybe their driver just doesn't like to work, looking for reasons to cancel. And in Florida, during this time of year, IF it rains, which is uncommon in January, it's usually a light, brief, drizzle. I've lived in Florida all of my life, so I know what it's like and what to expect. That's why when they canceled 2 hours in advance for possible rain, I thought it was absurd. Then when it didn't rain at all, perfect, cool, dry weather, I wasn't surprised at all. Just annoyed that they wouldn't wait until departure time to evaluate the weather. It felt like they canceled for some other reason, and thought using possible rain would sound legitimate. And, why not just keep us on the ready? Tell us "if the weather looks good in 1.5 hours, we can call you, and you can come to the departure location if you want to be on standby". We would have done that. It's a small area where all of the attractions are. The pictures attached are all near the meeting point, from that night. And as you can see, no rain all evening.

Our tour was canceled due to accident - We were canceled the night before and told there was a golf cart accident. I see that there are others that were told this same thing. Sounds like this may not be a very safe way to see the lights. Just kidding....its seems that they over book and then cancel a day before.
