Since 1598, a government building has stood on this site with a view of the harbor landing, accommodating administrative headquarters and residences of colonial governors appointed by the Crowns of Spain, then Britain, then Spain again. After Spain ceded Florida to the United States in 1821, this current Government House served as a courthouse and briefly as a Capitol of the new Territory of Florida.

Chocolate tour was excellent! Russ is the best guide! - This tour company is excellent! We had a great time on the chocolate tour. Russ was an incredible guide! He’s very friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about the city. A load of fun! Highly recommend.

Sweet, sweet tour - I'd like to add a quick review of the Sweets Tour we took with Alex. First off Alex is amazing and knowledgeable. His excitement about the city and its history is infectious. That coupled with the fabulous chocolate, Popsicles and other delicious treats, makes THIS tour a MUST do on my list! I'd give it a dozen stars if I could, do not miss this tour! Ps, I have taken other tours with this company and found them all immensely entertaining and well done. Don't sleep on St Augustine Experiences, ask for Alex.

An Entertaining and Enjoying Tour - Our tour guide, Alex, introduced us to St. Augustine history and interesting buildings and sweet shops that gave us samples to take with us in our personal cooler provided by Alex. His knowledge and presentation made the tour enjoyable and not over whelming. Alex has researched the history of St. Augustine and wants to share it with you. His enthusiasm about the topics is non-stop and very refreshing and entertaining. The only problem is that it comes to an end and you want more! I highly recommend this tour and this tour company for any of the offered tours.

BEST EXPERIENCE - ST AUGUSTINE FOOD AND WINE TOUR - We planned a last minute girls trip to St Augustine (it was 4 of us) for my (future) mother in laws birthday and decided on doing a food and wine tour with this company after doing some research. This tour was highly recommended/rated on trip advisor and had the most reviews.
Our tour guides name was Russ and he was absolutely wonderful. Russ was very personable and had so much knowledge/history about the town and cool facts about the restaurants.
Russ got in touch with us via text message the day before and it was very easy to communicate with him and ask questions/plan prior to the tour.
Our tour was divided into five sections sections: appetizers, 20-30 min walk, main course, 20-30 min walk and dessert. It was roughly 3 hrs.
However, since we had such a great time, Russ stayed with us longer and recommended some local art galleries and hidden local spots to visit.
Being a “foodie” myself, I was so happy with the places he took us. Each restaurant was unique in its own way and had a story to tell! The wine and cocktails were amazing and the food was delicious.
I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR!
IF YOU AREN’T SURE IF YOU SHOULD DO IT OR NOT. DO IT!
IT IS WELL WORTH THE PRICE POINT FOR THE AMOUNT OF FOOD, DRINKS AND HISTORY YOU GET.

The chocolate was AMAZING and Amy our guide was also AMAZING! As a historian she gave us so many fun facts on the area. - We loved this tour w/ our 13 year old granddaughter. The chocolate was amazing and so was Amy our tour guide. As an historian she was filled with fun and interesting stories about St.Augustine. 5stars for sure!!!

Great family experience - Why on the sweets and history tour with my 10 and 7 year old. After 3 days and many activities on our way home I asked my kids what their favorite activity was and they both said the sweets and history tour. Alex was an amazing guide and fed us many delicious treats while sharing some really cool info about st. Augustine and the sweets and shops we stopped at. Highly recommend this tour.

The Girls & Russ - We booked the food and cocktail tour with Russ for a bachelorette party and it did not disappoint! He was super down to earth and knowledgeable from the minute we met him. He has such interesting stories and knows so much about the history of the area. The tour itself was also an awesome experience. The drinks and food were phenomenal and everywhere we went was inviting. We are hoping to come back soon and book another tour with Russ because it was that enjoyable.

Don’t miss this tour- go at the beginning of your trip so you have time to go back & visit all the great spots you find - We had a great experience on this tour. It ended up being just my husband and I so we got to have a private experience. Our guide Alex was so warm and welcoming- we had a really great time with him. He knows the city well and gave us great insight into the history and culture of the area.
We enjoyed tasting samples at each stop and then eat part was that we got to take home a cooler full of sweets to enjoy throughout the rest of our trip!

Sweet - Alex was very friendly and helpful. He took his time going from place to place. It was an enjoyable tour. We learned a great deal about the history of St Augustine and some great places to eat.

Three girl tour with Alex - Oh my! What to say? Alex was super great! Such interesting facts and landmarks. He was correct, make sure you take his tour early in your trip. He suggested several places I’d wished we’d had time to go to. And, of course, the sweets were great for a sweet tooth.
Alex also suggested contacts in other states and countries. He’s full of so much information.
Hope to see him again for another tour.
