The Call of the Wild Coast

The Pembrokeshire Coast had been calling my name for quite some time. Known for its rugged beauty and adrenaline-pumping activities, it was the perfect destination for someone like me, always on the hunt for the next thrill. My fiancée and I decided to take a break from our usual skydiving and mountain climbing escapades to try something a little different: coasteering. We booked the Discovery Coasteer Experience with TYF, pioneers of the sport, and headed to St Davids for a bank holiday weekend.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by our instructor, Hayden, who would be our guide for the day. It was just the three of us, which meant a personalized adventure tailored to our abilities. Hayden’s enthusiasm was infectious, and his knowledge of the area was impressive. He promised us an unforgettable experience, and he certainly delivered.

A New Addiction

As the day came to an end, I found myself craving more. Coasteering had awakened a new passion within me, one that I knew I would return to again and again. The combination of scrambling, swimming, and jumping was a perfect blend of adventure and challenge.

Hayden’s guidance made the experience all the more enjoyable, and I couldn’t help but feel grateful for his knowledge and enthusiasm. As we dried off and headed back to St Davids, I knew this wouldn’t be the last time we’d embark on a coasteering adventure with TYF.
