More than a tour…an experience. - You are not rushed from one amazing experience to another. You get to take it in and enjoy it. With so many “check box” tours, this is a necessary alternative.

A must go on tour! - We had a great time with Deneen travelling up the coast, to the farm and back into St. John’s! The area is beautiful and Deneen was very knowledgeable about the local area and local plant life. Our stop at the farm was one of the highlights - we got to meet Gerry who filled us in on how the farm is using sustainable farming techniques. We got to meet their Belted Galloway cows, unique pig breeds, and all the birds. The farm dog Daisy was a total sweetie! I would highly recommend this tour if you want to see a bit of Newfoundland and step outside the city and busier areas for a few hours.

St. John' Canada - We arrived in St. John Canada on a cruise. There weren't any tours that our cruise was offering that sparked our interest. So we took a chance and booked this tour directly through TripAdvisor. We are very glad that we did. It was nice to get away from the crowds of people on our ship. This was a late morning early afternoon tour, which we appreciated because we were able to sleep in and not feel rushed. The pick-up point was right outside of the gate where our ship was docked. Our guide, Deneen, was a lovely woman with such a positive vibe. As we drove to our destination, she gave us highlights of the surrounding area. We made a few stops along the way at scenic spots to take some pictures. The picnic lunch was delicious and filling. Start to finish, we enjoyed it all. From the refreshing homemade drink concoction that was so good to the delicious blueberrie lemon cupcake we had for dessert. Along with a small tasty olive cucumber salad homemade mac and chesse and a delicious wrap made with fresh pork from the family owned farm. I would totally recommend this tour for anyone looking for something that was different from the same old offerings you usually find. As I mentioned before, it was also a large plus to not have crowds of people to deal with while enjoying ourselves during the tour.

Just the right trip to learn more about Newfoundland - Deneen showed me all her favourite spots along the Killick Coast. Beaches, small towns, nature, waterfall and more. As a local Deneen told me a lot about the Newfoundland fishing industry, the locals and most of all about the boreal forest. And its special plants, trees and so on. We had a very nice picknick with a delicious lunch on an organic farm. For me it was just the right trip to learn more about the Newfoundland landscape, nature, places and people. I really enjoyed it!

Poor value for money - Too expensive for the activity carried out, which does not correspond to the proposed description. Small hike not realized. Visit of the farm limited to the pig pen + mushroom culture. Big disappointment.
