Just the very best time! - Great boat tour of the Harbour. Captain Barry provided interesting history along the way, but our best treat was seeing so many humpback whales in the Atlantic! It was the highlight of my trip to St. John's!

Great customer service - We actually never made it to the tour because I accidentally booked St John’s NEWFOUNDLAND instead of Saint John’s New Brunswick. Be sure not to make my mistake. Even though it was my fault, the tour gave me a partial refund which was appreciated. Customer service was great.

Recommend entirely - We thoroughly enjoyed our tour. Our driver and guide were full of information. We went to some beautiful places and got some great photos. The boat portion of our trip was good too.

Not worth the money. Just do the iceberg quest - The boat tour was the best bit. The city tour was not much of a tour. You are dropped off for a short time before the tourist centres are even open. You pay a lot for the tour, I would have expected a guided tour of the sites we were seeing not just a dump and go. What was really awful was just being dumped off at the boat tour and left. You don’t even get taken back to your hotel.

Iceberg Quest boat cruise was great, city tour not so much. - The boat cruise was very nice, the crew were a lot of fun although we didnt see a whale the views were spectacular. However the city portion of the tour was quite poorly done, we arrived and left Cape Spear before the lighthouse was open (10am) and we did not get a tour of Quidi Vidi as advertised. The guide was not very good, he didnt seem to know a lot about the region.

No proper car for travel... - No proper car for travel in and see things around, No proper tour guide, Waiting time , 2 hr for the bout tour, So much money spent for this choice of travel, I’m regretting.

Very disappointing - Whatever you do steer clear of this booking. I booked for a Saturday trip which was cancelled with an option to rebook for Sunday or a full refund. This was very understandable as this trip was noted as weather dependent. I rebooked for Sunday and received confirmation for a pickup between 8:45-9:00am. At 9:15 I was still waiting for a pickup and sent a text and email to confirm my pickup. I got a reply that the tour guide met with an accident and I could rebook for the afternoon. I asked about the timeframe and heard nothing back. When I requested a refund I was told that it would be 1:30pm pickup. As this was supposed to be a 6 hour experience with a boat trip I didn’t see how that was going to workout and I had lost confidence this group all together so requested a refund. Very disappointing as the weekend was my only free time and both days were completely wasted as it was too late to try and arrange anything else.

Rip Off - Tour guide was 20 minutes late for pickup. 7 of us packed into a minivan. Van driver was terrible. Left us to sight see on our own. He talked about his family more than the stops. Took us to the lighthouse that wasn’t open.we were supposed to go to Quidi Viti as part of our tour, we did not. We found out when we got dropped off at the boat that we would not be picked up at end of tour

Do the hop on hop off instead - My husband and I did this tour on August 19th. Unfortunately we would not recommend it given what you get for the cost and alternatives available in the city. The description is misleading. It indicates that the tour is 6 hours - if you are adding the boat component the tour time is 4 hours (2 hours in the van plus boat time is approx 2 hours), if you are not doing the boat the tour time is approx 3 hours. If you are doing the boat tour, you miss Quidi Vidi Village and the drive around the downtown area as you are dropped off two hours in at the boat pick up spot. There also is no pick up after the boat tour (not communicated until the end of the van tour). All of this wouldn’t be a problem if it was indicated in the description but it’s not - the description indicates drop off anywhere in downtown St John’s. The description indicates there is opportunity to explore Cabot Tower, however the tour starts here and Cabot Tower opens at 10am - you will probably be gone by 9:45am. It also indicates a tour of Signal Hill - that is not the case as we were just dropped off there to do our own thing. Essentially $120 each to be driven to two stops (Signal Hill and Cape Spear) and a drop off at the boat tour. The driver was nice enough but you can get same/better service with the hop on hop off bus. The hop on hop off tour bus was $50 each, available 2 days and takes you to all the same spots (and more). Their drivers are just as, if not more, knowledgeable and well worth the money. Boat tour was great - just book directly with Iceberg Tours

See Sight Tours a no show - I'm sure this tour is amazing, however our tour was canceled by See Sight Tours with no notification. We even received a confirmation of our tour. We went to the meeting place and waited. I didn't find out until I called from our pick up spot. We were given no time to make alternative arrangements. The representative admitted no cancelation notifications were sent. Poor communication. I will not be booking anything with See Sight Tours going forward.
