Nice but HARD - Great hike but if you aren’t in good shape you should not do it. The guides did a great job. If people leave bad review it is because they couldn’t hack it.

Great hike - Definitely a workout, but worth every step! Our legs were done by the end, and knees were screaming, but next day all was good! Our tour guide was solid and kept the energy up! Definitely wish we had more time to just stop and take in the views and the surroundings. The rainforest, the mountain, everything was crazy beautiful. Highly recommended!

An Unforgettable Challenge – A Must for Hikers! - Wow, what an adventure! Hiking up to Mt. Liamuiga was one of the most challenging yet rewarding experiences my husband and I have ever had. This is NOT an easy hike—steep inclines, rocky terrain, tree roots, mud, and slippery spots make it a true test of endurance. Proper hiking shoes are a must, and bring a backpack to keep your hands free!
Our guide, Jay, was absolutely amazing. He was patient, encouraging, and made sure we took breaks when needed. His knowledge of the area and positive attitude made the experience even better.
This was by far the toughest hike we’ve done, but reaching the top was incredibly rewarding. If you love a challenge and breathtaking views, this is a hike you won’t want to miss. Highly recommend!

The hike was tough but the view from the top was amazing. Jey was a great guide. Explained the stages of the hike and kept us moving with short breaks. Unless you are in good shape, I would not attempt this hike. A lot of steep inclines and some climbing on rocks at the end. Well worth it if you like a challenge.

Hike to Liamuiga Volcano - Such an awesome hike! Loved the shade and beauty of the rainforest. Jey was an amazing guide. He was entertaining while providing ample information throughout the hike.
The views were beautiful! Definitely would recommend this hike to avid hikers.

A good experience - Overall the experience is worth it. It rained quite a bit the day before and we had to hike through mud which made it far more challenging and slippery than expected, but this is NOT the tour operator's fault. We had 2 tour guides - one in front and one in back - but both were young and not sure how to handle members who could not make it all the way to the top. They were left alone in the jungle until the rest of the team returned. The hike is VERY STRENUOUS and we had to keep a very fast pace to make it to the top in time. The driver was late and rude which made the end of our tour a challenge. One of the guides preferred to spend most of the time on his phone vs. interacting with guests. It is a good group of young kids leading this tour, they just have some maturing to do.

Poor communication and bad management - First of all, this is a VERY challenging excursion. Several in the party stopped and wanted to go back. That’s just part of my problem with this tour guide and excursion. I was on an excursion and was told they would be back on board at 2 PM. 4 PM rolled around and they were not on board. The tour operator did not answer any inquiries about the status, so I contacted via a Tour. Via Tour attempted multiple times to contact them as well with no results. Because the ship was getting ready to leave within 30 minutes, both via Tour and Royal Caribbean advised me to contact the port authorities to make them aware. I tried for over two hours to contact them as did Viator. No response at all. My family did make them back safely in the neck of time. They said they waited for long periods of time waiting for transportation to show up, and they waited in the rain! I’ve never had a problem with an excursion booked through Viator until this one.

Terrible - This was cancelled and not communicated to me until the night before when I messaged the guide who told me it would not be possible to go. In addition another tour we booked they TA was also cancelled for the next day. Highly frustrating all around…I won’t use TA again to book tours.
