As the journey begins, the route passes through Basseterre, the capital of Saint Kitts. Travelers will encounter several historic landmarks, such as the Berkeley Memorial (commonly known as the circus), Independence Square (formerly Pal Mal Square), the Co-Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, St. George’s Anglican Church, the National Museum, Her Majesty’s Prison, and The Government House.

Once owned by Sam Jefferson II, an ancestor of President Thomas Jefferson, it now invites visitors to explore its well-maintained gardens featuring exotic plants and a centuries-old Saman tree. The estate also hosts Caribelle Batik, where traditional Caribbean batik fabrics are crafted, showcasing the island’s artistic traditions. Romney Manor offers a captivating blend of history, natural beauty, and craftsmanship, providing insight into St. Kitts’ heritage.
5. Caribelle Batik at Romney Manor
Caribelle Batik is a historic shop offering handmade tie-dye fabrics and island souvenirs, located at Romney Manor amidst the beautiful rainforest. As the tour continues, the route passes by the historic St. Thomas Anglican Church.
6. Brimstone Hill Fortress National Park Society
Discover the military architecture of the 17th and 18th centuries, designed to provide refuge during frequent sea attacks. This site is the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in the Eastern Caribbean.
7. Dieppe Bay
OPTIONAL: If the group wishes to experience authentic Kittitian cuisine, this is an opportunity to visit one of the island’s most famous restaurants. Simply let us know, and arrangements will be made. Food costs are not included.
8. Blackrocks
Black Rock Overlook in St. Kitts offers breathtaking views of the Caribbean Sea and rugged coastline, attracting visitors seeking natural beauty and tranquility. Timothy Hill provides a panoramic view of Saint George’s Parish, offering a 360-degree postcard vista that includes the Atlantic Ocean, Caribbean Sea, Frigate Bays, Nevis (known as the Sister Island), and the Peninsula Hills.
10. Frigate Bay
OPTIONAL: Enjoy some leisure time at the stunning Frigate Bay Beach on the Caribbean Sea in St. Kitts (a $20 fee is collected upon drop-off). The guide will return you to the starting point regardless of whether this option is chosen. This is an opportunity to experience the island’s beautiful beach scenery.
