St. Kitts pride - Kasim exudes a passion for his homeland, neighborhood and nature that will leave an indelible memory of this tour and its guide! His pride in everything he shares with tourists and the education he provides is as enjoyable as the sights and sounds of the rainforest.

Kasim is the Best - Kasim picked my wife and I up at the hotel and we were the only ones on the tour which was nice because we were celebrating our 50th anniversary. We had a great hike through the rainforest stopping along the way many times so Kasim could explain many informative things about the forest, water, fruit trees and local history along with some stories about his childhood growing up with the rainforest in his backyard. After the tour his dad met us and gave us a nice ice cold guava drink and homemade cinnamon raisin bread. Before the hike begins Kasim offers you a walking stick, I would recommend using it. This tour is well worth the price.

Wonderful tour - Zidan Was exceptional! He was super knowledgeable and showed us around the rainforest which is his back yard. We lucked out that nobody else booked that day and we had essentially a private tour. The rainforest was amazing and we were lucky enough to see monkey’s in the wild. Zidan finished up the tour with a snack and dropped us back at our hotel. Thank you for sharing your beautiful rainforest with us! I would highly recommend this tour.

Tiring, beautiful, fun. - Zidan was the best! We had such a great time on this tour. But fair warning, wear your good shoes and bring a decent amount of water, and maybe even a snack. The route is long and tiring, but so worth it and so beautiful.

Great day in beautiful St. Kitts - The tour was great. David is a wonderful and informative guide and host to his beautiful island. He shared his knowledge of the local plants and the history of the area. He is attentive to his group and aware of their interest and capabilities for the hike.

Nice hike up through the rainforest - Zidan picked the three of us (me and my two college aged kids) and drove us to the site, giving us some local history on the way. After a short tour of the sugar mill and rum distillery, we headed up the hillside. There were just a few short steep stretches with most of the trail being a gentle slope upward. Along the way, Zidan provided us with more local history and information about the plants and trees we saw along the way. The kids did a little vine swinging about half way up. There was water flowing down the creek all the to the top, but not enough to keep us from cross crossing the creek Ed several times. There were a few places where we had to hop across some slippery rocks and branches, so I guess there is the potential for an ankle turn if you aren’t paying attention, but it was a sunny day so we could see the trail clearly.

Not as described. - Wasn’t as described. No way this hike is appropriate for all ages. There was a very steep section that required two hands pulling yourself up through mud on a rope and there was no water provided. Unfortunately, we were also the two extra on a family trip of 5 and it was evident the tour was for the family. The guide didn’t even wait for us to get there before he would share all the information on the trees and plants so we missed most of it. While we were so excited for this, overall it was a disappointment and I wouldn’t do it again.
