Great transport option with a tour included! - We used the bus after getting the highspeed ferry from Valletta to Gozo. It provided the perfect solution to getting a group of 6 around the island without costing too much. The rep gave us the group discount, meaning we paid 15 euros each instead of 20 euros. We got the opportunity to have separate tickets so we were not required to do exactly the same if we didn't want to. The bus gave use the change to see everything we wanted all over the island.

Stop Schedule - It was pretty good. Sadly the exact time schedule is only available once you purchase the tickets, so we had to go to Sliema.

Hop on hop off bus Gozo - Had a lovely time on the red hop on hop off bus in Gozo. Great way to see the island . The driver managed to negotiate some very tight turns and small streets very well . We got off at Victoria had a little look round all the little shops and streets. Popped in a little cafe and had a drink . The commentary was very informative and is a great way to see the island and learn a bit about its history . Bus came on time would recommend this tour

Choose your stops carefully or use public transport. - Looking at other reviews, I would say that we had a relatively positive experience compared to some! The drivers are skilled at getting the buses round very tight corners and narrow streets and yes, they do drive quickly at times, so hang on! They do their best to keep to schedule, but this can be impossible at times due to traffic and bad parking. The problem is that 45 mins is not enough time to spend at many of the stops, but if you stay for an hour and a half you really limit the number of stops you can make to ensure you get the last bus to the ferry. The other issue is that there are no real queuing systems at the busier stops (Yes, I’m British and we’re obsessed with queuing!). This means that everyone tends to rush at the bus when it arrives, clamouring to get on first. We were given headphones, but they didn’t seem to work. Not the biggest issue for us, but could be for some. Anyway, we found one of the drivers very entertaining with his ‘commentary’ on the atrocious traffic in Victoria. Was it worth €20 each? Not really. I should’ve done more research of the places I needed to visit and used public transport instead.

Poor organization of rides in rain on Gozo - It rained on Gozo, so passengers could not sit on top of the upper deck and take their seats below. Since all the seats were occupied at our entry, the driver wanted me to go upstairs. He wouldn't drive any further. But I am physically disabled and could not climb the stairs apart from the fact that it was raining in torrents. Waiting for the next bus in 45 minutes was not a possibility. I then stopped and he let me. That none of the young people offered me a place (I am 75 years old) is not the driver's fault.

Not great at all - Not a great deal to see and do on Gozo and with our timetable only 3 stops allowed as you need to be back on the boat for 4pm, some is quite boring and no really a scenic place to visit, the promise of nice comfortable seats on the boat..well there were no seats left for the return journey as it was packed, not ideal. The bus at Malta taking us back to the hotel took ages, overcrowded and the roads are very busy. I’d take a bolt taxi around town if I was to do it again

Pure rip-off - We had booked the day trip Gozo Heritage Pass. By ferry to Gozo and there 5 hours stay, including various tickets for sights. We were on the island at 11am and were picked up again at 4pm. The fun costs 60 euros per person and you honestly have no time at all to watch anything in these 5 hours. In addition, some attractions that are included in the price are not at all at the stop. No even partially over a kilometer away and then not always open. Sheer cheekiness. In addition, the drivers were not always friendly and had no idea. In addition, you were asked about 3 more times on the outward journey by ferry if you don't want to book another trip to Comino Island for a floppy 15 euros (but then only stays on Gozo until 2 pm). It was really cheek and pure money-making. Absolutely not recommended. Better explore by regular ferry and on site by taxi or similar.

Tourist Trap 101 - When we arrived at the harbor of Gozo we were met by a very passive aggressive woman who sold us tickets to the hop on hop off bus. She was very persistent but it worked, at least it sounded good. After having bought 2 tickets her colleagues followed us and tried to sell us the same tickets, we even told them that we already bought tickets. The bus ride offered great views but both drivers we rode with should not be allowed to drive, it was a reckless and bumpy ride. There was an audio tour guide that we got headphones to listen to, worthless. Either the mumbling voice were not in sync with the bus driver or it was just incoherent info, also the “facts” about the “worlds biggest dome” and the “worlds first temples” are just ridiculous when you know the real facts. Their tactic was to stop under the sun for 5-15 minutes and try to force you to buy water. It was overall horrible from start to finish, take an Uber/Bolt or take the local bus instead.
