Tips & hints amazing day if you arrive early - Amazing day, well organised, good cheap food like chips, burgers, drinks, crisps, chicken wrap, ice creams, cocktails. If you want to be on the top deck get there 30-40minutes before your suppose to board otherwise you will be sitting below deck, Yes it is alittle crowded but not uncomfortable and once you get to gozo alot of people get off anyway so its only crowded for about 1hour and then the boat is all yours for 4hours until the boat picks those people up again in the afternoon. Toilets are clean, definitely do the speed boat trip it was fun for 20minutes. Loads of time to snorkel and swim or jump in via the top of the boat and slides. Basically our family 7yr old and 9yr old had a blast and would definitely do it again, its worth every penny. WARNING! If you are driving there or have hired a car there is literally no parking near by so make sure you get there early to find a parking space! We got there 1hr before boarding and found a parking space no problem and because we arrived early we also got on the top deck! Basically be on time or early and you will have a lovely trouble free day.

Must do - We thought it was a wonderful time. We did leave the boat and ventured off to the island. We went on a Monday and it was not too crowded as we heard the weekends are terribly packed. Highly recommend last the water is indeed beautiful.

Great experience - Great experience! The crew was super helpful . Very polite. In blue lagoon I was stung by a jellyfish and the crew acted really fast and assured my safety. Also when I needed to place my bags somewhere safe they offered to keep them in a safe place on the boat.

Best excursion of our cruise—so far - We had a wonderful day visiting the Comino Island and Blue Lagoon. Very relaxing day with lots of swimming in beautiful clear waters. Use the Bolt App to get a ride from cruise terminal to Boat. We took a taxi which cost €50. Others took a Bolt ride for €22. Once on the boat, we cruised to Comino island for swimming. The water was very pleasant. The water in Malta is extremely salty so swimmers are very buoyant. After an hour of swimming, the boat captain put the bow of the boat inside several sea caves. Best viewing is in the front or second deck of the boat. The boat then went to Gozo. There was an option to leave the boat and tour Gozo for 3 hours. We stayed on the boat and went to the Blue Lagoon. At the Blue Lagoon, there are many food vendors. We bought lunch on the boat which was convenient. The Blue Lagoon area is very busy with swimmers and boats. We had four hours for swimming. The lagoon is beautiful turquoise blue with clear waters. It has shallow areas where you can stand on the sandy bottoms. In the Blue Lagoon there are vendors that take smaller boats to visit sea caves or to go tubing. Our boat left for a short time to pick up the people that toured Gozo. When the boat returned, there was an hour remaining for swimming. When we departed promptly at 17:00, we visited other caves along our way back. Again, the boat captain gave us great views of the caves by driving the bow into the caves. I feel that there is no need to pay for additional cave tours by vendors at Blue Lagoon. We returned to the point of departure just before 18:00. We took a Bolt ride back and shared a ride with another couple which cost a total of €34. I highly recommend this activity for families, but bring swim vests or floaties for non-swimmers.

FAMILY BOAT RIDE - We did this tour with 3 small children on Sundays in August 😅, so we can say we tested it in an “extreme” way! The package is not cheap, but seeing the other boats leaving from the same quay, we can say that ours was definitely better because we had a lot of space to sit (we took a table with 2 sofas) while on the other ships they looked like “sardines”, there was no air just to see them ... Our boat had 2 floors plus one below deck and was equipped with a beautiful slide from the top floor. The tour lasted exactly 7 hours, we visited about 5-6 caves going almost inside, then we stopped half an hour for a beautiful swim in the crystal lagoon , and then after dropping off the people who had bought the tour in Gozo , we went to blue lagon. Here on blu lagon unfortunately we have to express ourselves badly, because to say that it is an overcrowded location is simplistic, the place is beautiful but it is unlivable, water close to the mainland is very dirty and smells of diesel, further away it is really very beautiful, but passing numerous boats you can not swim in the central areas ... We stopped there about 4 hours and fortunately the boat remained moored available for those who did not want to get off (on the beach there is no shade, the microscopic beach is a carnaio at out of control prices). Staff available with explanations in English and Italian. On board a bar with water beers etc. plus clean bathrooms. Overall tour very nice but blue lagon overrated. A tour that we still recommend doing to spend a different day, by boat seeing the island and the sea from another perspective.

Magical! - Fantastic cruise and not too long! Beautiful bays and sights! Must see … we were very lucky to get fab seats at the back of the boat once we got our wristbands… don’t go upstairs! It’s better view 😊

Super! - It was a lovely boat trip, the crew were friendly and welcoming and it wasn’t overly busy, swimming in the crystal lagoon was lovely. Didn’t go in many sea caves though, and the blue lagoon was so busy! We swam around the boat which was amazing but over in the actual lagoon it was too busy for us! It didn’t spoil the trip though, we just chilled on the boat, my boys enjoyed the snorkelling and the slide. It was good value and very enjoyable.

Memorable Family Evening - Really good experience with family and 5x young children (4-10). Initially worried about the amount of people getting on the boat when we arrived at 4:30pm but once we’d set sail it was fine with reasonable space for our group. Drinks for kids were limited, good choice of drinks for adults (cans and bottles mainly), and ice lollies available. Scenery was superb, easy sailing to the locations, and some really good swimming opportunities. 1st stop gave me, my wife and 5year old son the opportunity to sea swim to a cave which was really special and something we’ll remember forever. 2nd stop was the blue lagoon, there were a lot of people there which is inevitable in summer but we still enjoyed the scenery and the swim. Although, our niece did get stung by a jellyfish, the boat had vinegar and she settled by the time we got back to the mainland. Overall a worthwhile evening trip to break up our week of chilling at the hotel.
