Morning at Malta National Aquarium - Fun time at the aquarium. Very informative with touch screen pad at each exhibition. Wide range of species to view. Loved the octopus and then going through shark tunnel. A guide gave an very good talk about sharks. Area highlighting the plastics in our oceans. The simulator was good fun. The Gift shop had a great choice of eco friendly gifts and displayed some of the awards they have won. Book online for a better entry rate.

Pleasant as a couple, family or solo - The aquarium and the exhibition above are very nice, you can learn a lot about ecosystems, there is an experience in a “submarine” not to be missed. The bar on the ground floor offers a wide choice of drinks. All in all a pleasant experience.

A fun trip out - We did the back stage tour which included a shark feed (not all of them do) l, and this we would rate 5 stars. We were shown the feeding prep area, the lab and the shark tank. Our guide talked at length giving us many interesting facts and engaged extremely well with the audience. The kids came away feeling passionate about the need to safe guard our marine environment. Our guide was a shark expert and showed us the zebra sharks being fed. The aquarium has a fun tunnel you can walk through to see fish and sharks swimming over head.

Aquarium visit - Nice visit to the aquarium during a somewhat gray day. Not a very long but interesting visit. Negative point, the activities are not very well indicated and as a result we missed them during our visit. Tip: buy tickets online in advance, it’s a little cheaper.

Beautiful but small. - We visited the Aquarium without great expectations, we had already read that it was not very big. Which is not a bad thing in principle. It is nicely decorated and the fish/aquariums are certainly fun to look at. There were quite a few people when we went. The “new” part of reptiles and amphibians is far too small, not accessible enough for the people who have to pass through. We had to skip this because everyone is stuck on top of each other and stays there for far too long for photos etc... otherwise it was a nice visit.

Things to do if you are in the St Paul area - I can't rate it very good when we have experienced other aquariums... But it's a fun tour for kids around St Paul Bay It's not worth the detour if you're staying in Valletta but if you're in St Paul your children will surely be delighted with this water break

Just an hour - Cute, small and disorganized structure. Too many people enter concentrated in a single small structure, they should be screened out in sectors. Very basic aquarium... don't expect anything, in an hour you'll be fed up.

You should not have any walking difficulties in the aquarium in Malta! - The aquarium was a goal for us. But we discovered that although they charge a higher entrance fee, there are no facilities for disabled people (such as a wheelchair). The aquarium's service team is also not very competent and boastful! What is good is the attached restaurant. In a very modern atmosphere, you can at least get something to eat there if you are prevented from visiting the aquarium. It's a shame that they don't offer any facilities for disabled people - with the high entrance fees, that should be the case! Knut Krabbes - Prokies

Disappointed with this aquarium - We were really disappointed with this aquarium. It's so small that we made it in an hour. Frankly, given the price offered, they had to make a larger aquarium with more species. Don't waste your time to visit it.
