Take a walk on the wild side (of old St Pete) - This tour was such a find. A little slice of local Native American history, curated by a family who has lived here for three generations and maintains the property and its natural history. The peacocks roaming around are a quirky bonus!

Best history tour in St. Petersburg Florida - Had the best tour at the Jungle Prada Site. David, our tour guide is a member of the family that has been caring for this mound site for generations. I was interested in all phases from Paleoindian through creation and Spanish contact. He didn't miss a beat and not only had answers but led me to wonderful sources. The site is beautiful and impressive. You need to go and experience this.

Oh my- What a place - What an amazing place. So much history, so much beauty despite the last storm. David was as good as it gets as guide. So knowledgeable- willing to take the time to answer anything. And then there's the peacocks- such beauty and what looked to be several dozen of them! So worth the time and at the price, as good of a deal as one could expect to find. As a Floridian, you should not miss this. As an out-of-state visitor, you will be impressed. We're coming back every year- maybe again this year! Bravo. Kim

Very Interesting tour! - Great tour----very interesting! Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. He knew history back to the Spaniards & local tribe Indians and he made it interesting. There were many peacocks everywhere and they showed their feathers off to us. It is an hour & a half long. There are some places to sit along the paths. Difficult for wheelchairs or walkers to navigate the brick pathways. My teenage Grandson found the tour/history very interesting.
