- 6701 Pinellas Point Dr S - Experience and observe the most common, and beloved, Florida dolphin species in the seemingly smiling Bottlenose Dolphin! These highly intelligent mammals are regularly spotted swimming around Boca Ciega Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. We will also be on the lookout for the elusive and shy Manatee; we go off the beaten path to look for them! You will also experience many tropical birds such as our Pelicans, Parakeets, Egrets and the Blue Heron. During our tour, you will boat in and around many different islands, experiencing oceanfront mansions as well as some famous celebrities homes.

During our Private Sunset and Dolphin Tour, you will encounter Bottlenose Dolphins and scout for other marine creatures like Manatees, Sea Turtles and Sharks. You will also get to observe a variety of tropical birds like Parakeets, Pelicans, Blue Herons, Egrets and Ospreys. The tour includes visiting multiple islands and keys in Boca Ciega Bay, passing by extravagant oceanfront estates of former athletes and celebrities in Tierra Verde, and boating under the Pinellas Bayway Bridge that links Isla Del Sol Island with St. Pete Beach, one of the America’s highest-rated beaches. The tour will conclude with a panoramic view of the grandiose sunset in the open Gulf of Mexico.

Great captain with personalized tour - Captain Joe was so accomodating and really knowledgeable. He took me on a great tour of the area, took photos and videos for me, and shared great information about the wildlife and more. It was a great tour that was personalized for exactly what I wanted to do.

Fun and beautiful - The views were amazing and Joe was very knowledgeable. Joe went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed and comfortable. My children absolutely loved the trip.

Beautiful weather, good vibes & a good private excursion with captain joe! - The views were amazing. We saw many dolphins… Captain Joe did a fantastic job at making my son’s 10th birthday a fun 3 hour trip. I highly recommend and we will be back next year!!!

Highlight of our vacation! - Captain Joe was so much fun and a great tour guide. We learned a ton and saw numerous dolphins. The best part was when the dolphins played in our wake! It turned out to be a beautiful day and not only was it exciting , it was relaxing! We had a quick stop at a beach which was lovely, with what powdery sand. He allows you to design the trip to your wants and needs. And he made us feel very safe. If we ever return, we will definitely be booking with Captain Joe again.

Great time and learned a lot about the area! - Captain Joe was an amazing guide to take us out and show us St. Pete beaches coast. He gave us a lot of history and information about the area. We got to see both manatees and some dolphins. He was so personable and took great care of us. He even gave our 8 year old daughter a sand dollar and some shark teeth he had collected as a parting gift. We highly recommend him!

Always amazing - Such an amazing trip! This is our 3rd and can't get enough! Captain Joe is not only very knowledgeable of the surrounding wildlife, homes, and many islands, but also super safe and prepared for anything. We have learned so much about the area and have loved seeing all the dolphins, etc. You can't go wrong with these Tours. Can't wait to go back again!

A MILLION STARS⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - INCREDIBLE!! I booked this tour for my parents anniversary and we had an amazing time. From the very beginning, captain joe set the scene for a fantastic ride. Listening to reggae, we saw dolphins, sharks, manta rays, and more! It was clear he was passionate about the tours, boat and area, making it so much more enjoyable for all of us. Highly recommend!

Captain Joe Rocks! - The private tour was the way to go, it was Captain Joe, my wife and I. Captain Joe is terrific. Very knowledgeable, friendly and personable. Also, safety is foremost in everything he does which is reassuring. We loved seeing the dolphins and learning about the homes and bridges on the bay. I highly recommend Captain Joe and Salt and Mist Sea Tours. Don’t miss this tour if you are in St. Petersburg!!

10/10 Tour - The perfect experience. Captain Joe was an excellent guide- knowledgeable, relaxed, and engaging. We saw a number of dolphins and heard about the history of the area and a who’s who of the waterfront properties. Highly recommend.
