Great day in St Thomas - This is a great trip. The staff is awesome and knowledgable. They were helpful and we all had a blast. This is a 3 mile kayak, hike, and snorkel. It’s hot and the sun is intense. Rash guard and water shoes a must plus a water phone case if you want to keep it. They lock up all your dry stuff. I can’t say enough nice things about the staff. Highly recommend.

Amazing experience. Friendly and knowledgeable tour guides. - This was hands down the best experience we had on the island. Both of our tour guides were knowledgeable and fun. The kayaking was a great workout and the snorkeling was amazing. We saw many different types of fish, barracudas, sea urchins and jellyfish. On the dry land watch your step cause there are hundreds of hermit crabs. The mangroves are such a diverse ecosystem. This is a great excursion to bring your kids along. I would definitely do it again.

Highly recommend! - Outstanding Tour. We have done most of the tours in St. Thomas and this is by far the best. Beautiful kayaking, nice stroll through the island and great time at the beach.

Great for beginners! - First of all, our tour guides Jvante and Donovan were awesome! They were very friendly, knowledgable, and patient with us as beginners. Our family likes to nerd out with facts and stats and Jvante was full of great info for us to learn all about the island and its ecosystem. The water in the mangroves was very calm and easy to paddle through but it does take some upper body strength to do it. After paddling over to a small island, we took a short break to learn a little about what makes that island special. Then we put on our snorkel gear and swam around for awhile to see what we could find. While we have a little bit of previous experience kayaking, I was having some anxiety about snorkeling as I am not a great swimmer. We found this tour to be a great first experience snorkeling for us and our 12yo son! The area is sort of enclosed so the water was super calm and also not too deep. I wore my life jacket the whole time I snorkeled and I was able to see quite a lot and I had no anxiety once we got going. After snorkeling we took a little walk on the island again to see some more plants and sea creatures. Then we got back into our kayaks and paddled back. Donovan took lots of photos for us so we could just be in the moment. This was our best experience in St. Thomas!!

Ask for Jvante! - Highly recommend if you want to get out and see the island, learn about the local flora and fauna, and have a fun, easy adventure. The tour guide will take pictures, so you don't have to worry about trying to experience and capture the experience at the same time (yes you have to purchase, yes it's worth it). Jvante was the BEST! Ask for him to give your tour. You'll have fun, and he'll put you at ease if it's your first time trying something new!

Fun with Virgin Islands Ecotours - This was an amazing tour! Connor was our guide. He was personable and knowledgeable about everywhere we went. We first kayaked on a lagoon and then partially in the ocean. It was a bit of a challenge with two in a kayak. My husband and I are both seasoned kayakers, but between the back rests not fitting quite right and the wind over the ocean, we had to work hard to keep up with Connor. The tour included a walk through the island's trees and foliage. He explained the history and importance of the mangrove trees and pointed out another variety of tree with very poisonous leaves. He also took us to a place where he fed the sand crabs. There were hundreds of them scurrying about which was SO interesting! We then went snorkeling and he pointed out lots of really interesting marine life. Again, he was very engaging and knowledgeable. After a little snack and some water, we kayaked back to the original departure site filled with lots of memories and tales to tell our family and friends back home. I would highly recommend this tour with Connor as your guide!!
