• Eye travel - Meet your group and guide who gives you the info about the day and the driving rules, and indicate your jeep. We leave around 9 am. Around 4 pm we arrive back here. - Skotino - We visit a special cave with a ‘holy’ meaning. Good walking shoes are necessary. - Kalo Chorio - This small mountain village is the ideal place for a stop. On the village square, next to the church, we can use the toilets and have a drink at a traditional taverna. - Aposelemis - We cross a gorge driving off road. - Sfendili - We pass at the Aposelemis Dam to see this ‘sunken’ mountain village. - Kastelli - We have a local lunch in a very idyllic small mountain village. - Malia Palace Archaeological Site - Before we stop to enjoy the beach and have a swim or drink a coffee, we pass this archeological site. - Malia - To end the tour, we stop at a beautiful beach to take a small dip or take a drink at the beach bar.

You are the whole day, with your local guide, inside the countryside of Crete. The roads are almost all off road, the chance to see the real inland of Crete! We drive through the mountains towards the grape yards of the wine areas, passing small villages, through a river bed, sheltered by bamboo, a lot of nature. Crossing the river where we may have some water flowing in the months April, May and again from half of September. One of the highlights is a visit of a cave. We stop in a very authentic mountain village, on the square next to the church, for a coffee. We continue our trip along several small villages, on dirt tracks and through the green nature and herbs, passing olive groves and grape fields. We stop for lunch in a very small mountain village with a spectacular beautiful view. After lunch we drive through a mountainous area. On the way down we see a magnificent view of the north coast of Crete. We end this interesting day with a swim in the refreshing sea. Join us!

• POSSIBILITY DRIVING the jeep: min 21 years old AND min 3 years driving license AND min 3 years MANUAL driving experience AND in the last year NOT only driven an automatic car AND countries driving at the left side of the car. We are not a driving school, so only responsible drivers! Comfortable shoes, no flip flops.
