An amazing time in Egypt - We had an amazing time with the Canary Tours! A couple of tours - Safari in the desert, Snorkeling in the Red Sea and Luxor visit. All of the trips were perfectly organised with special care of each of the group. Really nice persons and lot of good vibes! If we come back in Hurgada definitely we'll meet them again for another adventure! Thank you very much! 🌞

Incredible Experience - Absolutely incredible experience. My husband and I went on this experience and had a great time. Our driver was excellent. Moussa was a great guide that provided a lot of information regarding the Bedouin life. He was also very knowledgeable about astronomy. I would highly recommend this tour to get out of the city and experience something new and see some amazing stars.

It was amazing - Amazing trip, and wonderful experience. The ATV's is a great thrill. A camel ride and Ana buggy also grabbed me. Check those guys out. Strongly recommended. Call Canary Tours Egypt for your next trip in Egypt.

So lovely trips - Second time doing our excursions with Canary Tours and once again we have throughly enjoyed every one of them. Big thank you to all the team and Omar our guide during the beach trips, where if you are inexperienced or not confident in water he is the one to guide you. Will be looking forward to be joining the team again next time.

Good overall but room for improvement - I would have given a 3.5 if I could. Not quite deserving of a 4.
We chose to do the Stargazing, Camel Ride and BBQ.
We were picked up from our resort at 4.15pm and were dropped back by 10.45pm.
The truck that we travelled in was shared, initially, with another 4 guests, later on at the Camel experience we picked up 2 others, totalling 8 in our truck, one person sat in front with the driver and guide also.
The first downmark on this trip was that the jeep broke down leaving hurghada. This meant a 45 minute wait on the roadside in 32 degrees for another jeep to come and get us. We were lucky enough that we had numerous chilled water bottles on board that, ironically, were meant for another 30+ waiting on our arrival at the camel riding. I know breakdowns cant be helped but this wasnt an ideal start.
Once we got back on track we made our way to the camel riding. We were lucky enough to only be there for about 20minutes. Other groups were also in attendance in this spot, some of whom said they had been there for an hour. The actual ride on the camel lasts for about 3minutes.
We got ourselves back on the road again, although we had to go back to the initially broken down jeep because the guide had forgotten his backpack amidst all the chaos of changing jeeps!
The next step was the trip through the desert. We were lucky enough to have some fun loving people in our jeep and found being thrown around like rag dolls hilarious. All I would say is that you should be prepared for coming off your seat and, possibly, even hitting your head on the roof! Anyone whos less inclined to a rough ride should sit as near to the front as possible. This is where we had another 20-30 minute stop as one of the other groups jeeps had got itself in a situation which needed all the other drivers, and some guests, to assist!
The sunset at the bedouin camp was spectacular. Just be prepared for some rock climbing to get the best views of it. The buffet provided was good. They offered watermelon as a dessert and had cola/ water bottles for us.
The second down mark from us is because on the advertisement is states Max. Group of 10people. I felt a little mis-informed on this matter as when we got to the stargazing/ bedouin camp we were sharing the space with the same large group, ran by the same company, that were waiting for us at the camel riding. So there was probably about 40 of us there in total. It in itself isnt a problem but i think it needs to be made clearer that the groups will combine. I would have expected a bit more time looking through the telescope but as a lot of people there felt pressured to move on.
The guides and drivers were very good and the astronomer in particular was excellent.

Overall too long but individual elements too short - A very long excursion. We stayed in Soma Bay and were picked up at 1.40pm and got back 9/9.30pm. our driver was upset as he was told to get us at 1.30pm but we had message proof from the tour operator we were told 1.40pm.
We had to stop at a further 4 hotels, one of which the driver forgot so we had an additional 20mins drive back to get them.
The camel ride (which we abstained from as we felt sorry for them) was literally 1 minute long for whoever wanted to ride.
The Jeeps were good fun and one of the best parts. Sunset was beautiful too.
The Bedouin village and BBQ were not for us and feel this didn't add much to the excursion. We were put off the food after being told the Bedouins store raw meet underground for a month - perhaps because we are used to fridges etc.
Stargazing was the best part and Mousa was extremely knowledgeable in the area. We wish we could've done more stargazing. In total each person probably got a couple of minutes on the telescope.
In summary, too many separate activities were squashed into this excursion. The Jeeps and stargazing would be more than enough and result in a 5 star rating, plus the excursion would then be a more suitable duration.
