Catedral Diocesana Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe - The Nossa Senhora de Guadalupe Diocesan Cathedral is strategically situated at one of the highest points in the city of Foz do Iguaçu-PR. After all, it was on Mount Sinai that Moses received the 10 commandments, and it was in the mountains that Jesus sought the presence of the Father through prayer (Mount of Olives and Beatitudes).
The Cathedral enhances the devotion to the patron saint of Latin America, Our Lady of Guadalupe. Its modern construction features three equal doors symbolizing the equality of the three peoples living at the triple border. Each door represents a people: the Brazilian, the Paraguayan, and the Argentinian.
