Great time with Marcio - It is a pleasure to write this review for Marcio. From the beginning we knew we were in good hands with Marcio. He was always prompt in his text responses and shared useful information with us prior to our private tour. He picked us up in a beautifully clean car and laid out our plans for the day. Marcio speaks English perfectly and it is clear he loves what he does. He is a professional and well respected because several people along the way greeted him warmly, making a point to say hello. He shared great knowledge of the sites and once he got a sense of our interests and personality, he add a few surprises that he believed we would appreciate; which we did. In addition, he had several humorous, unexpected 1-liners that were very funny. I highly recommend Marcio for your private touring needs in Rio.

Private Tour - Rio - Marcio was absolutely Fabulous. We were on our way up to see Christ the Redeemer and overheard Marcio giving an excellent private tour to the family behind us. We were so impressed with how fun, charismatic and insightful he was and we wanted to spend time with him ourselves. We introduced ourselves and were able to book a tour the next day with him. He took us to sugar loaf, the rainforest and we even went on a helicopter ride. Marcio shared so much history on Rio and all of the areas we went to. Rio is alsome! - As a driver is too expensive he charge me $170 for six hours family of four, he also whines to much. In good part he is very puntual, car is clean and knows the city pretty much.

Rio On a Busy Day - We hired Marcioat a premium rate because we wanted a personalized and knowledgable tour of this iconic city. We were on a cruise and could have taken the free included tour. Sadly, we wished we had. Marcio was all about logistics: for example, getting us in the fast lane to the top of the mountain to see the Christ statue, which is great. However, he had very little to offer when it came to telling us about the people, the history, and the architecture. We would drive for a long period of time seeing things we wanted to understand with no comment from him. When we would ask, we would get a short perfunctory answer. Marcioseemed not to understand, nor care, what we wanted nor what any good tour guide is for. He provided a high quality taxi experience and little more.
