Super surprise gem for Americans - I had an extra day at the end of my business trip and tried to make the most of it despite the terrible weather that caused another operator to cancel a similar tour. Ederson was the guide and the owner of Trip in Rio. Since the others on this tour had postponed due to the weather, he contacted me and made sure I still got to see the sites. He personally drove me to these places and was the best guide I've ever had. He knows everybody - all of the drivers, facility staff, vendors. AMAZING! A very friendly and popular guy. His English speaking was on the level of native - very helpful for an American. He made sure my tour was wonderful. I will definitely book with Trip in Rio next time when I bring my wife.

Memorable experience! - The views were beautiful!!! One of the bonuses of our experience was all the great pictures taken by our wonderful tour guide, Eddie. The Christ the Redeemer statue was all I hoped it would be. We also saw monkies and a great gift shop. The items in there are of great quality. The Selaron steps are beautiful! Eddie shared the history and significance of that wonderful site...amazing!! Sugarloaf was not only amazing but has great history. It's a great place for pictures. Our tour guide was one of the best photographers around. He captured some beautiful memories for us. I would highly recommend him! He made the trip truly memorable.

A tour of Rio de Janeiro - Our guide for the 6 hours was Ederson Oliveira, and he was very professional and took great care of us. The process of booking him and how he interacted with us pre our arrival to Rio was second to none. He was friendly and helpful and was incredibly knowledgeable and gave us a fantastic day in Rio. We leant a lot about the history and culture while we visited the top attractions in Rio. We can highly recommend Ederson.

Rio de Janeiro sites to see! - Ederson is a wonderful tour guide. He was exemplary. Knowledgeable of the sites, history and country as a whole. I felt safe and thoroughly entertained with the whole experience. My first time in Brazil and he definitely made me feel like family. He went above and beyond my expectations. I highly recommend Ederson to be your guide and friend. I look forward to seeing him again in the near future.

Unsavory start but good end - We opted to take a private tour which cost us multiple over than the normal price for this tour in order to meet our ship departure time. Unfortunately, the day before the scheduled day for the tour. the operator contested that that the tour was private and was planning on having another guest on the tour with us to which we objected. He later apologized after we have told him how much we had paid for this tour when then he redeemed the situation by sending on a private taxi with its nice guide driver. Thereafter, the tour proceeding very well.. The pre-start was unsavory but the end was good. The communication between Viator and its operator should have been clear in the first place. Another issue we had with this booking was that Viator had charged our card the full amount not passing on the 5% discount on the other tour as shown on their confirmation. Must do better
