Great tour - No frills tour that gets you to the steps and Cristo in the most mobility friendly way possible.....

The unmissable - Highly recommended! You visit all the unmissables and avoid lines. All very well and Gabi very friendly! Comfortable minivan and super good group (there were 12 in total). You must change to official van in Christ the Redeemer. I went with family of big kids. Perfect for first day in Rio and have the overview! Traveller advice: We’d love more time in Sugarloaf to explore the forest quietly, but for this you shouldn’t plan other attractions the same day. Recommended 100%!

Book Directly with Greyline, NOT with Viator, they didn't fulfill the tour and refuse to issue a refund - The tour operator did not arrive for my tour. My hotel called them and they had no record of my booking with Viator. They kindly arranged for a new tour starting later in the evening, in an open vehicle without air-conditioning (its what they had available), versus the closed van tour I purchased via Viator.
The tour itself was lovely, the guide was excellent, but because it started so late we arrived at the Selaron steps in the DARK and the photos are terrible , you can't see anything.
I disputed the charge immediately, before Grey Line even arranged to set up a new tour for us. The tour they offered was 1/2 the price paid to Viator, yet Viator still will not offer a partial refund. I've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau - STAY AWAY FROM VIATOR.

Great view of Rio in only... - Great view of Rio in only 4 hours! Our guide knew a lot , shared a lot in 3 different languages. Flexibility was also great, because she adopted to the weather..which made the trip ff better.

Great way to know Rio in an afternoon. - My son and I were in Rio for a short 3 day visit and we decided to do the Gray Line Tour 1/2 day. The tour guide Luis and the driver Mauricio were wonderful. They made us feel like we were getting a personalized tour. Very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about their jobs. I do recommend you take this tour or a longer one if your time permits.

Seleron Steps and Christ the Redeemer are not to be missed. - The tour guide was not informed of the correct itinerary and it was foggy at the Christ the Redeemer Statue. However, he was flexible and he rearranged the sites so we saw everything. The tour guide, Jose, was very good, however the vehicle he was driving left a lot to be desired.

Not as expected - We booked the tour expecting to see the Santa Teresa neighborhood and the Selaron steps. First we waited half an hour past the expected pickup. When we tried contacting the provider GrayLine through Viator’s app chat to see if they were coming, we never received a response. We tried phoning the 2 numbers provided and there was no answer. Finally, the minibus arrived and then we were off to Christ the Redeemer. Along the ride we were then told that we wouldn’t be seeing the Selaron steps or Santa Teresa at all because of carnival happening and it was too busy to get there. That should have been in the tours detail BEFORE we booked which was the day before. We were also expecting a guide up to the statue but as we got there we were told to just go up and meet back at downstairs in an hour. When we got back we had to wait for the minibus to come back and it was hot so we just decided to ditch the minibus ride back which would have stopped at everyone else’s hotels, so we took a taxi back. We could have just bought our tickets and done this tour ourselves and would have been cheaper.
