This was a wonderful... - This was a wonderful experience. Bernardo is a smart and engaging host who shared the culture of Brazil and of course the food. The restaurants were all informal and comfortable. The food and drink were all delicious with many ingredients I’d never had before. The selection of dishes represented different regions of Brazil. We finished the night enjoying lively music in a plaza.

Great Food Tour in Rio - Must Do - We booked the tour directly through the website of Free WalkerTours to get an insight into the culinary world of Brazil. With Fernanda we had a great guide who had a lot to tell about the culinary world and the history of Brazil. We had a very entertaining evening in various restaurants with super delicious food. You shouldn't eat before, because the amount you get on the tour is a lot. Driving to the first restaurant and returning from the last works great via Uber. We find this tour MEGA recommended. Many thanks to Fernando who did a great job. And thanks again for the cachaça with Jambu !!! Very good.

If you are into exploring new foods, book this tour! - Fernanda introduce me to a lot of food that I otherwise would not have tried on my own. She started the tour out with a bang, but I won’t ruin a surprise! Just book the tour if you love a different experience and cultural vibes.

Ok tour - We take a food tour in most cities that we visit, so this is probably my 25th food tour at least. So this review is based on my preferences. First, we had good dishes at three different locations. Because we just visited three different locations and had multiple items at each we didn't really get to wander around Rio and learn about the city. The guide was pleasant but quiet, which is unusual for a tour guide and didn't make for the most interesting tour.
