100% recommended - Excellent tour! We went as a family and we enjoyed it a lot, we really like football and seeing the Maracaná stadium and the flamengo museum was a tremendous experience. We greatly appreciate the patience, willingness, sympathy and willingness of our guide Alexia! Thanks to her our tour was truly unforgettable!

Great tour for football/soccer enthusiasts! - We had a great time doing the tour of both Maracana stadium and Flamengo headquarters where the regional team plays. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and was able to accommodate us, providing explanations in English also. Would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys football/soccer!

Scammed at Maracana Stadium - We were directed to C2Rio Tours and Travel by the Hilton Copacabana, as they were the in-house concierge. While in Rio, we thought it would be a great idea as a wedding party of 20 people to book an evening at Maracana Stadium on May 27th for the Flamengo x Cruzeiro football match. We were assured that a guide would escort us into the stadium and accompany us for the entirety of the match. However, once we arrived to the stadium, our guide disappeared and chaos followed. Left without our guide and getting lost in the crowd, half of our group became separated while the other half gained entry passed the ticket gate. It was at this point that the groom of our wedding party was assaulted by security prior to his entry and we were all DETAINED. We were told that we had purchased FRAUDULENT tickets and must leave immediately. Keep in mind our guide handed us these tickets prior to abandoning us at the gate and subsequently was nowhere to be found. We were left outside Maracana Stadium in a very DANGEROUS situation for 20 minutes until our guide reappeared and once we confirmed that we would not be able to gain entry, we returned to the Hilton Copacabana. Upon return to the Hilton, we were told this is the first time this had ever happened and that the Football Club had recently changed the rules regarding entry for foreigners(WHICH WAS A LIE). We were also told that a refund was not guaranteed and that it would take a few days to process the funds(WHICH WAS ALSO A LIE). In a world with Visa and Mastercard payment, this seemed illogical. We were left in a situation where we had to negotiate with Renato Ohira from Hilton Copacabana and Patricia Moura from C2Rio in the lobby of the hotel for our eventual refund and compensation, 4 HOURS LATER. Needless to say, as foreigners, this was a very unfortunate and disappointing experience. Given the fact that the concierge has a booth under the roof of the Hilton Copacabana and came recommended by the hotel, we trusted that we would be well taken care of. This was not the case and instead we were put in a very PRECARIOUS and DANGEROUS position. Make sure to ask all of the questions and get confirmation of promises made in writing. THIS COMPANY LIED TO US AND I WOULD HIGHLY DISCOURAGE USING THEM.
