  • Maracana - Estádio Jornalista Mário Filho, better known as Maracanã, the popular Maraca (“similar to a rattle” in Tupi-Guarani, due to the sound of birds that lived there), is a football stadium located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro and inaugurated in 1950, during the term of the then General of Division and Mayor of the Federal District of Rio de Janeiro Marechal Ângelo Mendes de Moraes, having been used in the Soccer World Cup of that year.

Adventure in the rain!! - Má was included. Despite the heavy rain she was an excellent guide and we managed to do everything in a positive way. She knows a lot about the history of Brazil and that was really cool. Very good translator too.

Accessible tour. - Beautiful and iconic places, I went with my wife and two children, one of whom is in a wheelchair. Great service from the guide, Tatiana, the driver, Kaká and the staff, both at Corcovado, who provided a van with a wheelchair lift for the final stretch, and at Pão de Açucar/Urca. I preferred to stay in the van with my son at Escadaria Selaron, as there is no accessibility, but it is a staircase and the place is really cool. A mandatory tour, especially if it’s your first time in Rio.
