Tijuca Forest jeep ride - Our guide Henry, and driver Alex were terrific. Henry speaks several languages fluently, is professional, informative, and very friendly. I'm so glad we found Gray Line Tours.

Great 1/2 day private tour - We had a great time! Our guide was pleasant and explained a number of things. This was definitely the way for us to experience the falls and forest. The jeep was the perfect way to do this. Fun, small and 1/2 a day was great. If you want a hike, this is not the tour, but if you want to see it and enjoy the views and the basics this is perfect.

Great Tour Option - The tour was great and so was the guide. He was very knowledgeable. It is definitely worth your consideration. The one thing to be aware of that we were not is the fact that it’s an open air Jeep. As you drive through the city and even in the forest you do get quite a bit of car exhaust to the face.

Ballade Tijuca - We loved this activity. The Guide, Georges was really great, he told us lots of stories and anecdotes about the country, the city and the forest. The scenery was beautiful. We still recommend wearing trousers or bringing mosquito repellent.

Exciting, Beautiful, Rio - The views were great. The forest was a pleasure to go through. The ride there goes around Lagoa Rodrigo de Freitas and on the way back goes through São Conrado, Leblon & Ipanema with incredible views

Awesome time! - I had a great time, I was picked up from my hotel on time. Our tour guide Paolo was friendly, knowledgeable and spoke perfect English. We made a couple of stops, the was no hiking, some walking through a section of the forest, but not hard at all. I would recommend bug repellent or wearing long pants and sleeves. I was wearing shorts and got a few mosquito bites before a nice fellow tourist offered me her repellent. The temperature drops a bit there, so bring a light sweater or top just in case.

Not good value for the money - This tour was short and not good value for the money. While it was fun and interesting (our tour guide Henry was very knowledgable about the park, wildlife, and plantlife), this tour could use another stop or 2 to make it worthwhile. This is particularly important on the weekends when the Chinese View is closed to visitors. I understand that the tour operator cannot control when the Chinese View is closed but there should have been a replacement stop added to make up for it.

More a jeep ride to the forest than a jeep ride through the forest - Not really a jeep tour but a jeep ride to the forest and a walking tour through the forest. Good history and knowledge
