We initiate our journey from the apex of the favela, offering a breathtaking panorama of the city. Bask in views of the iconic Christ the Redeemer, the stunning Sugarloaf Mountain and picturesque Ipanema Lagoon. Our route takes us past a popular terrace in the community, perfect for absorbing the magnitude of the favela and snapping some memorable pictures. Delving into the maze-like alleyways of the favela unveils vibrantly painted houses tucked away, we engage with the locals creating a rich cultural exchange. Walking by impressive murals and graffiti, we get a slice of authentic Brazilian life.
- The tour is not private, but shared, and the guide will speak in English, Spanish and Portuguese
- We are not responsible for items lost on our buses or vans.
- We do the tour, rain or shine. The day of the tour is chosen by the customer, therefore no refund will be generated in case of bad weather. We will do the tour rain or shine.
- Pick-ups in Barra da Tijuca and Recreio are not included.

Rocinha community - Guys. The emotion of going up to Rocinha on a motorbike and then enjoying one of the most beautiful views there is is surreal. I will definitely do this tour again one day.

Fun and complete tour of Rocinha! - Very good tour, the guides were very attentive from the beginning to the end. I went with two friends from abroad and it went really well.
I especially recommend the motorcycle climb, it was exciting!

We didn’t get what we paid for - We were disappointed that this tour was very short and barely spent any time in the Favela. We simply drove through briefly, walked around for only a few minutes, and didn’t see much. We didn’t do multiple things on the itinerary such as the cultural exchange. And, although we booked the tour in English, there was not an English-speaking guide. I think these issues were due to a mixup with the tour guide, so I understand that the driver did his best to show us around and was very nice. Still, I don’t recommend this tour
