This rock offers impressive views of the stunning city landscape: on one side, there are wild beaches and the Tijuca National Park, and on the other, an amazing vista of Marambaia, an expansive beach featuring a vast swamp region.

Pedra do Telégrafo can be found on the westward section of Rio de Janeiro. This rock offers impressive views of the stunning city landscape: on one side, there are wild beaches and the Tijuca National Park, and on the other, an amazing vista of Marambaia, an expansive beach featuring a vast swamp region.
The hike to reach the top takes roughly an hour (one way) and the peak is 354 meters above sea level. After reaching the top and descending from Pedra do Telégrafo, we will take a detour for a swim and some relaxation at Grumari (renowned as one of Rio’s most beautiful beaches). Following this, we will travel along all the coastal beaches of Rio, providing ample opportunities for photo-taking.
