Great tour of Rio!!! - Fantastic! Our guide, David, was very pleasant and knowledgeable. We saw Christ the Redeemer, the Cathedral of St. Sebastian, the Teatro Municipal and the National Library in the Centro Historico/Cinelandia, Parque das Ruinas/Parque Gloria Maria, Escadaria Selaron and ended atop Sugarloaf at sunset. The driver was great. And David took lots of great pictures!

Best way to see Rio main attraction points - This tour is a wonderful way getting to know Rio. It’s 8hours but touches all the major attractions and it’s extremely comfortable to have your own driver and guide taking you through the city, saving you many hours of valuable time that you can spend on millions of other activities in Rio. Special thanks to our tour guide Flavio and our driver Romulo (hope I spell the name right) who did a fantastic job showing us these top attractions. Flavio, thanks for all the background on history, art and architecture and thanks for all the fun facts you’ve told us. Hope by the end of the tour we also managed to teach you some Hungarian words you can benefit from (your interest towards languages is truly unparalleled). Romulo thanks for sharing your beautiful new car with us for the day, it was just perfect. Great experience and definitely recommend, it’s the best way to see all these major attraction points in Rio.

A perfect day in Rio - This was a perfect day in Rio. Higor (tour guide) and Alexander (driver) were fantastic hosts. When Higor says he is well know at SugarLoaf and Christ the Redeemer, he isn’t kidding. He was greeted like a best friend everywhere and we were rushed to the front of every line. Now to be clear, we did buy the skip the line tickets and I would highly recommend it. We had Marcelo (owner of tour company) purchase them on our behalf ahead of time. He charges a 5% handling fee and it is so well with it. It removed any ambiguity and also get the tickets directly to our tour guide so he could expertly guide us through the fast lanes, etc. Just do it. You will be happy you did. So what did we do? Well, Christ the Redeemer, SugarLoaf, the Selaron Steps, and Tijuca National Park. Plus seeing parts of Rio while driving from one to the next, including Le Blon, Copacabana Beach, Ipanema Beach, and more I can’t recall. Higor graciously took pictures of us everywhere we went and climbed all the way to the top of the Selaron Steps with us. He knew ‘secret’ paths at SugarLoaf that sped us past crowds to get us to the best vantage points. He took us to parts with NO crowds that seemed like an oasis from the masses. In Tijuca I had just mentioned that I’d love to see a monkey and voila! There one was! Results may vary of course. Higor and Alexander told us we would stop at a ‘small’ waterfall. It was hundreds of feet high, cascading down the mountain through the rich greenery. It would not be considered ‘small’ back in the USA.

Everything we wanted and more - What a day! Diogo and Johnny (driver) picked us up right on time. Diogo let me know the intended itinerary which was great but there was one extra thing I wanted to see. He said no problem, and off we went. Diogo's english was great and his attention to all the details of making sure we knew what we were seeing on the road and at the stops was perfect. The amount we learned about the history of rio was incredible. Also being able to chat with Diogo about current day to day life in rio from his point of view made things extra special. No questions went unanswered, no attention to detail spared. Even the organization with Marcelo beforehand for venue tickets was flawless. Top it off with Johnny's safe and calm driving in super busy streets it really was the perfect day out. Highly recommend this tour and especially Diogo our guide, it's a day we'll never forget!

A Day in Rio - My husband and I did a private tour with friends and David was our tour guide. The tour company stayed in touch with us throughout the process, was very professional and worked with us so we could see everything we wanted to see in Rio. David allowed us to customize the tour. He was knowledgeable, flexible and he took us to an authentic Brazilian restaurant for lunch. Our van was new and the driver, Geraldo, was excellent. At the end of the tour, they dropped us off at the airport. We highly recommend this tour.
