- To avoid crowds at Christ the Redeemer, we recommend starting the tour as early as possible. Our earliest time is 6:30am.
- To watch the stunning sunset from Sugar Loaf Mountain, we recommend starting the tour at 11:30am or later.
- The “Real Gabinete Português de Leitura (Royal Portuguese Reading Room) is not open on Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays. We will visit another attraction on those days.
- If you are staying at Barra da Tijuca and Recreio, we recommend starting your tour at 6:30 AM to avoid heavy traffic and experience the best of Rio.

Great Day Tour of Rio - Fantastic tour! Our guide Ulysses was amazing. The day was packed with so many cool things and the surprise tour of the national soccer stadium was awesome! The tour operator Marcelo was extremely accommodating after we had to modify our original plans. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to get a taste of Rio. Made us appreciate the rest of our time in Rio and Brazil.

Marcelo is the man. - Marcelo and his team are outstanding. I did four separate tours with him while in Rio. This was our first trip and we were picked up directly from the airport. They were on time and took us all around the city to the main sites. Weather was working against us but they did a good job of adjusting the tour to make the best out of it. Marcelo is a great host of the city, and I highly recommend him for any of your tour needs.

Flavio was Excellent - EXCELLENT...Flavio took us to Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf, Santa Theresa, Cathedral, Selaron Steps, and Library within one day. Very informative at each stop, and handled all changes well...

Tour of Rio - Excellent tour despite the clouds. We visited all the main sites and Wagner was kind enough to pick us up the day after to complete the tour visiting Christ the Reedeemer as previous day had been too cloudy - highly recommended

Wonderful overview of Rio! - Wagner and Junior were amazing guides and hosts. Their love of Rio shown through! We got to see all the major Rio sites and Sugar Loaf at sunset was a magical experience! Highly recommend!

Highlight of Our Trip - This was one of the best tours we’ve ever done in all our travels. Faby was an incredible guide! She was very informative without being boring, extremely friendly and personable, and took the best pictures for our group. She customized the tour so that everything matched our interests and managed to fit in a full day of sightseeing without it feeling too rushed. After our week in Rio, everyone from our group said that this tour was the highlight of the trip! I highly recommend booking the private day tour!
