A venue like nothing I've ever seen - A local suggested this place, and we had our concierge make a reservation for 8:00 That was the perfect time to go, and it did get busy. The music was great, the service was very good, and they have a great system for paying. There's three floors, and I suggest checking all of them out. The food wasn't bad, but that's not why you go. It's a must do while in Rio.

My husband and I had a very nice... - <p>My husband and I had a very nice time with our guide, Michael. He and a driver picked us up in a comfortable car and dropped us off very close to the bar. Michael told us about the history of the bar, we sat and had food and drinks with him, and then he let us dance to the samba band as long as we wanted to. When we were ready to go, we were picked up and dropped off at the hotel. It was an easy and safe way to experience this very cool bar.</p>

Wonderful Venue .. poor tour guide - We were waiting for the guide for a long time. The place is nice with a lot of history and antiques, but the guide never showed us around nor did she teach us any samba moves.

Nice venue, unnecessary guide - A rip-off. Price of admission not included. We got there at 8 - no queue to jump and easy. Safe enough environment outside. Lots of tables available. Having a guide added nothing. A very expensive babysitter and taxi ride! Scenarium itself is fascinating and music lively although sound man should get his hearing checked! Had a good dance. Food acceptable but not great. Drinks reasonably priced. Go, but not with this organised tour.
