Super recommended to visit Brazil safely - Our summer holidays 2024 we spent visiting a small part of that immense country which is Brazil. We relied on Milleviagens after several searches on specialized sites for a number of factors, the main of which were the fact that we do not speak Portuguese and that we wanted to be followed and assisted in case of need during our trip by local staff. The choice was also apt thanks to the patience shown by Gianluca and his staff from the estimate stage and throughout the trip. We visited Rio de Janeiro, Foz do Iguaçu, Salvador and the Lençois Maranhaensis and had really fabulous experiences. In Rio, the visit of the Rocinha Favela gave us an up-close look at an urban reality that we did not think was so lively and at the same time difficult to experience.

Awesome memories for life - Integrating with the friendly people. We felt we were one of the same. Our guide introduced us to several street foods and drinks. Our guide was a 6 out of five. The Best!

Advised! - Thanks to the collaboration of Gianluca from Milleviagens, we organized a trip that touched Brazil, Argentina and Chile. In the Rio de Janeiro stop, in addition to the city tour (very well organised), we also included a visit to the Rocinha favela to try to understand the daily reality of millions of Brazilians. The tour with the guide in Italian is extremely interesting and allows you to see without too many filters what the common life of a part of Rio's population is in safety. We definitely recommend booking such a visit during your stay in Rio,

Absolutely worth visiting - We have just returned from this wonderful experience with Milleviagens chosen through the reviews here on TripAdvisor The guide Monica picked us up at the hotel and showed us the Rocinha favela in complete safety, also showing us the various social projects that involve this experience. Absolutely recommended to all those who want to understand the complex Carioca reality.

Excellent experience - If you want to experience and get to know Rio de Janeiro from a different perspective than usual, if you want to take an extremely particular tour you absolutely must take the tour of the Rocinha favela, the largest in Rio with its 70,000 inhabitants. The favela is not just poverty and degradation but there are also many people who work on social projects and the integration of children into society. Highly recommended

Amazing tour of nothing remotely relatable to anything I’ve seen before - We had an amazing 1/2 day tour with Martin, a knowledgeable and well known guide in the area. We were never afraid, and had our 18 year old granddaughter with us. It’s quite a strenuous tour with lots of stairs up and down. If you have bad knees, better pass on this one.
