Epic Experience with Riccardo - As a solo traveler, I was a bit nervous to book a hiking tour in the middle of a rainforest. I am so glad I decided to book this one!! Riccardo was a perfect guide - very informative and super cool, funny, down to earth, suggesting pictures to take, and made for a great experience. The hike was great with several stops at vistas for epic views, the biggest cave in Rio, and ending with a refreshing waterfall shower. Half the hike is uphill, so you need to be in good physical condition. You can go at your own pace, though. Highly recommend booking with Riccardo, and Luisa (guide in training) was fantastic as well! This was my favorite excursion in Rio as a lover of hikes and nature!

Nice nature hike! - Pietro was our guide and he is amazing. Explained a lot about the history and nature of Brazil and Tijuca national park. There was only 1 other person booked so it was just the three of us. The hike was honestly much easier than expected and faster, but you do need stamina. Path is not very technical. The sights we saw were pretty, the waterfall at the start and the grotto and Chinese viewpoint. The shower at the end made me feel reborn. I took extra water because it was a hot day but i only used 2 liters.

Must Do in Rio! - Super Tourguide, very professional - everyone who is in Rio should do this! We saw the beautiful national park in a small group, there were enough time to ask questions and we got a lots of background information about the history of Rio de Janeiro. Thank you so much :-)

Excellent experience. Get it on your list! - I really enjoyed this hike deep into the Tijuca forest. It was an intimate group of 6 and took several hours to complete. Bear in mind that a reasonable level of fitness is required for this given the steep gradients and often challenging paths that you encounter. Ricardo was an absolutely excellent and charming (and knowledgable) guide and it was a real pleasure to be led by him. The best part for me was having a shower in the waterfall at the end!!! I must do more of these hikes in Rio.

Difficult, but very good. - It was very good. There was supposed to be two hikers but one got sick so it became a private trip for the cost of a group. I think this was very good of them. A different trip the previous day, with a different tour company, was cancelled because of not enough people. So I thought it great of Jungle Me to continue the hike anyway. The hike was good. I was not as fast as I thought I would be but it all worked out and we were back on time. Tito was very knowledgeable about the history and the plants in the forest. The hike started with a history lesson about Brazil which I personally enjoyed. I would recommend it, if you are in shape, and it is a cooler time of year.

Fantastic hike! - Fantastic hike! I highly recommend it. Exploring the forest with our knowledgeable guide, Riccardo, was an absolute joy. He shared fascinating historical and biological insights about the forest, Rio de Janeiro, and Brazil, making the experience both fun and educational. The hike itself is moderately challenging, with a few short steep sections, but overall it's quite manageable. A great adventure for anyone looking to experience the beauty of nature and learn more about the area!

Tijuca Forest Challenge Full-Day Hike - a great experience all round - A fabulous day out. Ricardo our lead for the day was excellent. It was a small group (5) which we really liked. The views were amazing from the top. It was great to experience the rainforest not far from the centre of Rio. The waterfall at the end was lovely after several hours trekking

Safe and Beautiful Experience, Professional Guide - I spent a wonderful day in the company of guys I met on the spot. Thiago, our Guide, picked us up (each in his own hotel) to take us directly to the starting point of the hike. It was a continuous lesson that took place in a very natural way that touched not only the forest of Tijuca but also the history of Brazil and the most recent topics. We talked in English all the time thanks to the excellent Guide level. The day flies away which is a pleasure, you can admire waterfalls, plants, trees and if you are lucky animals in addition to truly breathtaking views of Rio. It takes a minimum of training but it is nothing that difficult and above all everything is always safe, you just need to bring water, food, sunscreen and necessarily anti-insect spray. Recommendation to wear long pants. Ah bring your swimsuit that at the end of the trip you swim in the waterfall. Thank you Thiago for the beautiful memory. A beautiful
