It is really worth visiting Pomerode, especially. - Blumenau is a peaceful place with buildings that hark back to a period of German colonization. Today it seems that with the expansion of the city, some of the houses are now built into buildings, but the historic center is well preserved. The neighboring city, about 30 minutes away by car, Pomerode seemed to me to be more preserved, with a tiny bus station, bars and restaurants at your disposal, a beer factory and cachaçaria for good drink lovers to enjoy and a zoo for those who want to go. with plenty of time to get to know it. The ideal would be to sleep at least one night in this city to take advantage of its full potential.

Satisfaction with the European Valley tour - Punctual departure and very competent guide, who entertained everyone with local curiosities throughout the trip. The tour was unfortunately hampered by rain, preventing all the sites from being visited, but I'm aware that it's the kind of thing you can't have control over. I was very satisfied and recommend it!

Have a good trip! - Beautiful landscapes and perfect motorcycle guide. I recommend it for all ages. The trip is a little long, but the motorcycle guide will situate us geographically. It is worth it.

Perfect team! TOP company! - Wonderful experience with the company Itaguasul! The tour to Blumenau - Pomerade was great, the guide Guilherme was tailor-made, without retouching. On the way back, my son forgot his wallet on the bus and as soon as we informed him, the company mobilized and the return was quick (even though this happened after 10pm), the next day, in the morning we already had everything sorted and the wallet in hands (intact!). Congratulations to everyone involved! Top team! 👏🏽😍

If you don't know the cities, take the tour, but don't expect much from them - A typical tourist itinerary for those who don't know either Blumenau or Pomerode. There is no criticism of the tour company's service, the professionals have good knowledge of what they are talking about and are fully recommended: when it comes to the tour, it is only recommended that whoever is going to buy the package has a lot of patience because Florianópolis- European Valley is far away (2 hours there and 2 hours back, with good traffic), so periods in places are scarce. The biggest problem with the tour is that the cities no longer maintain any tradition other than "marketing". Visiting or buying some "real" local product is an almost impossible task: in Blumenau the historical part is interesting, but the Vila Germânica part is for tourists to see, with expensive and trivial food in the "eat what you can" style. There is a visit to a Catholic Church that is interesting, but in my case, as a Protestant, I would at least expect to see or access a Lutheran church, for example. In Pomerode there is architecture to see, a few places to visit, depending on the time and day most things will already be closed. And this on a day when the Pomerode Literary Fair was taking place...

Long ride and just reasonable. - Getting there I found it tiring, even because I had already covered a large part of the road to go to Balneário Camboriú, however Blumenau is a charming city and its huge event park, where the October Fest takes place, is very good, it has a great restaurant where they serve German food with live German music, at affordable prices. The part of the tour held in Pomerode, in my opinion, is not attractive and does not present anything very special, it is only historical in nature with reference to colonization. A lot of time is spent.

Go to Pomerode! - I felt deceived... lol I thought I was going to a completely "characterized" place, however, the main part of the tour, to Vila Germânica, is nothing more than a scenery... The tour could have been better explored, we had a stop for photos at the facade of the city hall and a locomotive that they have us in front, then we went to Rua das Palmeiras, Dr Blumenau's mausoleum and cat cemetery (which is nothing more than a tribute to the former owner of the land, with the tombstone of 9 of her cats), which has been inactive since its construction ... after these stops, we went to Vila Germanica for lunch From there we went to Pomerode. This one is worth visiting, but not on this tour, it's worth dedicating a whole day or even spending the night there to get to know it better!!!!!
