Highlights
  • Parque Ibirapuera - Visit Ibirapuera Park, which was named the best park in the world by The Guardian magazine. The park is a must-see for those who want to be captivated by the beauty of its lake and water fountain. It also features three remarkable art museums: MAC, MAM, and the Afro-Brazil Museum, whose exceptional art collections contributed to the park’s well-deserved recognition. - Monument to the Bandeiras - Anyone visiting Ibirapuera Park should not miss this monument honoring the early settlers, which is one of São Paulo’s most iconic landmarks. - Museum of Contemporary Art - MAC USP Ibirapuera - Enjoy an incredible 360º view of a large part of São Paulo from MAC, which overlooks Ibirapuera Park. - Muro dos Arcos da Avenida 23 de Maio - Home to the world’s largest vertical garden along its walls. - Liberdade - The Liberdade neighborhood is the Japanese district, where the Art, Craft, and Culture Fair takes place every weekend. The area’s streetlights, adorned with beautiful Japanese-style lamps, catch tourists’ attention and define the region’s character. - Catedral da Se de Sao Paulo - Visit the Sé Cathedral, inspired by medieval European churches. This imposing structure marks the center of São Paulo, with the city’s ground zero located at Sé Square, a bustling area. - Pateo do Collegio - The historic founding site of São Paulo and a museum of the city. The Jesuits built the first school here to teach and catechize the natives, laying the foundation for what would become the largest city in the Southern Hemisphere over four centuries. - Mosteiro De Sao Bento - The São Bento Monastery is a sacred site that appeals even to non-religious visitors. The building hosted Pope Benedict XVI during his visit to Brazil. Believers are drawn to the masses with Gregorian chants and the shop selling breads, cakes, cookies, and jams made by the monks using centuries-old recipes. - Matarazzo Building City Hall Of Sao Paulo - Inaugurated in 1939 to house one of the largest industrial conglomerates in Brazilian history, Matarazzo Industries, this building was designed by Marcello Piacentini, the favorite architect of Italian dictator Benito Mussolini. Today, it serves as the headquarters of the city administration. - Theatro Municipal De Sao Paulo - Considered a postcard of São Paulo, the Municipal Theater is one of the city’s most important historical sites, having hosted several significant cultural events, including the Week of Modern Art in 1922. - Municipal Market of Sao Paulo - The São Paulo Municipal Market is one of the city’s main attractions and a must-visit for anyone in São Paulo. Don’t miss the wide array of fruits, nuts, wines, cheeses, beers, and foods—a true summary of Brazil. - Paulista Avenue - Stroll down the fascinating Paulista Avenue, a place that will impress you not only with its appearance but also with its rich history. With an expert tour guide, the seemingly ordinary can become extraordinary. - Batman Alley - Visit the heart of street art in São Paulo. Batman Alley is an area where virtually no surface is left untouched. This long stretch of high-walled residences in Vila Madalena showcases some of the most impressive spray paint murals. The ever-changing nature of the art means there’s always something new and striking to see with each visit.

100% recommend Gregtur and Mauro - Mauro, you are a legend! LI was on a business trip but wanted a safe english speaking tour before my long return flight. After I booked via TripAdvisor, Gretur were in touch via whatsapp with helpful information about what to expect. It was easy communication. Mauro picked me up from my hotel on time and was very friendly. He even had water for me ready in the car. We travelled through some of Sao Paulo’s sights and he shared lots of history, interesting facts, but lots of jokes and fun time too. We stopped at great places and took photos. I wanted lunch and he shared an amazing place to eat (Bar Do Biu). Even the random people at this restaurant spoke to Mauro - he was a kind guy, very easy to talk to. I completely recommend Gregtur and Mauro as a tour guide. Mauro is like a friend you have known for a long time. I hope to to return to Sao Paulo (Saint Paul) and do a longer tour with Mauro and Gregtur.

A wonderful experience - During our four-hour tour in Sao Paulo, we drove through various neighborhoods of the city. Thanks to the guide's extensive knowledge, we quickly learned many interesting facts about Sao Paulo, but also about Brazil as a whole. The trip allowed us to discover the charms of the city, savor the local cuisine and admire the architecture. It was an amazing adventure that allowed us to feel the energy of this place.

Great overview of São Paolo sites and history - Mauro was an excellent tour guide. I was travelling alone for business and I felt very comfortable going on this tour and spending the afternoon with Mauro. He told me a lot of the history of the city, showed me the highlights and we spent some time walking around Batman Alley enjoying the sights. I would definitely recommend this tour.

Great way to get to know São Paulo - Our tour guide Ilan was awesome! Both from his knowledge of São Paulo and Brazil (history and culture). But also in the fact that as he got to know us we were able to go to a couple of really cool spots (such as Batman Alley, a great hill spot for viewing the city, an awesome coffee shop, and a museum that had the best cheese bread that we ate in São Paulo. Overall highly recommended!

Great Experience and Communication - Great tour and experience! The company reached out to confirm the specifics and pass on details. Juliana was an amazing guide with so much knowledge of the city and history. She was able to navigate the busy traffic, stop at some great sites and offer local knowledge on points of interest. Highly recommend her for this tour or any of the others she guides.
