We had a lovely day with... - We had a lovely day with Peter. We are non drinkers who took this tour to see this beautiful region and learn more about the country. Peter was very accommodating and was happy to share his extensive knowledge about the region and the country with us. He was also a safe and considerate driver so we felt safe at all times. We would highly recommend this tour and especially Peter. Thanks for a great day.

Great wine tour - The wine Tram is a great way to travel. We'll organized tour. Did 4 tastings of excellent wines. Best part was not having to drive.

Amazing!!! - This was the most amazing activity done in Cape Town. We were with kids but it worked perfectly. Imagine without them 😀 Hop on hop off very well guided train and bus. Good value for the money! Although you must pay for everything else where you stop (wine tasting and lunch). Be prepared to spend some money and enjoy a fantastic place!

FABULOUS.... - Fabulous tour with the fabulous Kelvin. A true star with a lovely smile and kind nature. He made our tour a very special day. Thank you Kelvin. Great weather and stunning scenery and the tram was fun. Wish we had lunched at any other winery than Rickety Bridge though as although a beautiful setting, the waitress service was awful! Sadly she did not look happy in her job! The restaurant was closed so only pizzas and platters on offer! The platters were not explained to us so we had no idea what was on them apart from cheese and meat! And they were huge! Could have easily been shared between two people! But of course we ordered one each! The other three wineries were excellent with happy staff! Only down side of the whole day was we were first to be picked up and the last drop off so made the day a long one! Note although the start time is 8am pick up time may be half hour before! Great day out though....

Perfect Day with just one disappointment - Excellent day of sunshine, great company, fantastic wine and scenery with the lovely Kelvin from Cape Archives Tours. A gentle soul with a great smile and sense of fun. Alll the wineries were fabulous apart from Rickety Bridge. A beautiful setting but our particular waitress was moody and unwelcoming! The restaurant was closed so only pizzas or cheese platters available which were not explained to us and were enough for four to share but of course we all purchased one each! Very disappointing and would have preferred either of the other three wineries visited for our lunch stop! One thing to note although the trip may state an 8am start it is always 15 to 30 minutes earlier depending on number of pick ups! Unfortunately we were first pick up and last drop off! This made it an extra long day for us! Great trip though and Thank You Kelvin you are a star!

Great experience but with many tourists - We visited 5 wineries with tasting fee included. Positive points: there is an explanation (rapid) about each wine, there was harmony with chocolate in the first winemaker, and the positive surprise was the architecture and the works of art in some winemakers. Negatives: the stop in Franshooek is very fast, no time to get to know the beautiful place, lack of harmony with chocolate or cheeses in the tasting from the second winemaking, and the stops are very fast. In short, it is a valid experience to have a notion of South African wines, but do not expect exclusivity in the service, since there are many tourists in much of the places visited.

It was good… ... - It was good… The experience includes 5 tasting sessions, but since they picked up us at the hotel they said that we were going to do 3 or 4, it was enough (really), but they should not offer 5 knowing that people can do less… The tram was just a “check” to have the photos. The selection of all the wineries (4) was great!

Lovely tour locations.... - Lovely tour locations. Tour guide was knowledgeable and welcoming. The tour would have received a higher rating had the tour guide maintained management of the tour itinerary and schedule rather than allowing certain members of the group to take control of the itinerary. I am sure his intent was to be accommodating to those people, however, the tour lost some of its enjoyment in the process. Consider starting the tour a little later in the morning as it was pretty early for most people to begin wine tasting at 10 am.
