The highlight for my husband (and all of us!) was the unexpected surprise of him getting to saber a bottle of champagne/ sparkling wine at Simonsig—a thrilling moment! Marlene explained how Simonsig uses the traditional French méthode champenoise, adding even more depth to the experience. He was absolutely blown away, and the sparkle in his eyes matched the bubbles in the wine! We savored exceptional wines from Simonsig, Kanonkop, Rainbow’s End, and Stark-Conde, each stop revealing delightful surprises. Marlene’s engaging storytelling and insightful commentary brought the regions’ rich history and flavours to life. Brilliant private tour lead by a brilliant guide - Just returned from the best wine tour I’ve ever done. So much better than a large group tour. Marlene, our guide was great fun wonderfully knowledgeable and pitched the information and the entertainment mix perfectly throughout. We visited 4 wonderful vineyards. We especially appreciated the pre-tour liaison - the company is very efficient at dealing with emails which means uncertainty about arrangements is minimised. Cedric was very knowledgeable, and his contacts at the premier wine estates meant we had the best possible experience. The daily format was very flexible, meaning changes could be made to meet our preferences.

Perfect day! - Excellent day with Cedric. We visited the wine regions as a day out on our honeymoon. Cedric was extremely friendly, knowledgeable and personable- it was one of our favourite days of our trip. Best wine tour! - An incredible memorable day. I don’t even know where to start. Obviously FIRST in making the day 5 star was Marlene. She’s an excellent guide who can answer any questions. Then there’s the loveliness of the many wines we tasted. Wow. Fabulous. Lunch in a bucolic valley overlooking a pond & finishing up in the dramatic mountains. If you want a wine tour … this one is unbeatable.
